  1. I was wondering where you've been. I was afraid you had forgotten about us. Glad you got the "go ahead" from the doc.
  2. There are plenty of 3.3's out there. Swap a used one in there and keep on truckin'
  3. You are thinking of OffTourRoadie. Here's the el'linko to his build thread with the pics you are thinking about ... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/25718-off-tour-roadie-96/page-3
  4. Great suggestion. Maybe you can try putting your old cap back on to see if it still shutters?
  5. I'll bet she starts easier and has more power. Isn't it nice to feel the difference when you do maintenance projects like this?
  6. Humm? I'm guessing the lack of an amp would suggest that you did not have the factory Bose system. Most aftermarket stereo's average something like 12 watts a channel (some boast twice that). If you're happy with the volume levels of the new speakers, I wouldn't worry about it.
  7. Jack the rear up and place jack stands under the axel in between the bell housing and the shock mounts. Max, you have limited slip differential.
  8. Man, we get away with bloody murder here in South Cakalaki but, no bumpers and no exhaust would warrant a ticket from our local finest.
  9. 6:05 ... best shot eva' Well, any shot underneath with the traveling suspension was pretty wicked. Love the vid mang! When did you pull your exhaust?
  10. I don't remember 01's video? Love his Pathy though ..
  11. x2 ... I thought this was the normal practice. Are we supposed to change the plug?
  12. That's where I am. I can't change engines quite yet but, I can help with timing belt, alternator, power steering rack and pump, and even inner and outer tie rod changes! Oh, I can change entire shock and strut assemblies (spring lift) and even inflate a flat tire! *edit .. had enter a better pronunciation (yeah, it was that bad)
  13. I'm still digging that color!
  14. I had my rear sway bar out for about ten months before I re-installed it. Just removing the rear was was way to awkward for me on the pavement. I wouldn't let my wife drive it until I replaced it. However, it flexed like a motha' on the trails!
  15. Timing belt failure would just eat the valves. The damage coming from the bottom of the engine would point towards the crank shaft. Dang.
  16. Main bearing give out on the crank shaft? Dang man .. this sucks!
  17. Defiantly? Really? I meant "definitely" After you touch up the paint, buy a clay bar kit. It will come with a bar of clay and a spray that will remove all surface blemishes as well as any existing wax. After you message the entire truck you will simply apply a coat of wax that will have an even shine.
  18. The amp is tiny. It's located behind the plastic trim on the driver's side rear panel. In fact, if you look through the "vent" with a flash light, you should be able to see it. It's mounted closer to the tail light assembly (away from the fuel filler plumbing) .
  19. You can probably ask Alkorahil in the "Genuine Nissan Parts" thread (in the Services section of the forum).
  20. I loosened the four bolts that secured the AC pump. That made it easier to pull the hose out just enough to remove the TB cover.
  21. AC's baby! Looks like she's standing on her "tippy-toes". *edit .. I'm surprised that the EMU's were that short.
