i would say that precise's price is about correct. i got quoted $400 for a new exhaust including magnaflow muffler and cat from a shop here around reno, albeit overprice but not by THAT much.

i read this thread a couple days ago and thought i would update the prices for everyone; its not $300 anymore. summit has the ignitions (sans the new wires) for $149 and the tach adapters for $26. checked with an MSD tech and he said that you could spring for a new coil as well, he recommended PN 8207, at summit for $39.

yep, 2.25" is also an entirely viable choice, all the exhaust shops i've talked to, and a few techs at summit racing have recommended 2.25" over 2.5"... 2.5" will get you a few more top-end hp, but at the expense of a little more get up and go and torque at lower rpm, which you pick up with 2.25" pipes.

haha i doubt nissan will recall the frame yeah, you can ebay the clear ones or get them from a few different places. i recall getting mine from 4x4parts (AC) but i don't buy anything from there unless i absolutely have to.

gasoline ignites at about 500 degrees F, not sure how that works out in terms of it being inside a gas tank, but i imagine if the metal got that hot, it would ignite the gas inside and byebye pathfinder. =)

from all that i've heard, flowmasters generally sound better than magnaflows (read: louder) but magnaflows might squeeze out that extra bit of power that the flowmasters are just turning into noise...

i've gotten stuck, and then realized i had a flat tire. not sure how i pulled that off but its entirely possible, trust me but in all seriousness, having the tire under your truck is good for looks and good for storage but not too practical if you ever have to change a tire in less-than-ideal conditions. but hey, you'd have to remove the fuel tank anyways

just imagine yourself having a flat tire when your rig is sunk in mud. then think about if you want the spare on the back or under the vehicle.

whether or not throttlebody spacers are worth their salt. we have 2 for and 2 against. =)
