alrighty i'm sure this question has been asked before but i have really bad luck with the new search engine so i figured i would ask anyways =) i'm debating a new bumper of the ARB / TJM type, but i know it won't go on as seamlessly as it would to a stock truck due to my body lift and the bumper bracket holes no longer lining up. has anyone else installed one of these bumpers on a body lifted pathy before? what was your solution? pictures / good explanations would be good don't just tell me "i welded it"

yeah i imagine everyone's mileage may vary but that's been one of the complaints recently about ebay... they sell so much stuff every day that they don't take an active interest in investigating every problem as they should.

yeah, except ebay won't care... their customer service people will kick you around and you might get a reply email every two weeks or so and eventually you'll decide that it wasn't even worth reporting in the first place. =) trust me, that's how they dealt with me when i reported a non-selling seller. i did get my money back, but he left nasty feedback on my account, which i got withdrawn but only after agreeing to have his withdrawn too...

hehe well they all look pretty yucky, one had all sorts of grit in the threads when i pulled it, the others are all black at the tips so far... two more to go =D i couldn't tell you what was wrong with a cylinder just by looking at the spark plugs so i figure the engine ought to be happy just having clean ones later that day... alrighty cool, got all 6 of them in, probably took me a grand total of about an hour with the use of the nifty spark plug changing tools... replaced the old grimy ones with platinum 4's, yeah i know they're spendy and probably not worth it but i couldn't find a place in town that had the NGKs and i didn't want to wait for shipping. so sue me =Da little more powerful acceleration and a smoother idle i think but i might just be nuts.

alrighty now i have a question... if i only get half of the plugs done before i have to go to work tomorrow, is there a problem with driving around with one bank having new plugs and the other having the old ones? will the engine get confused or should they not make THAT much difference?

haha alrighty so back to the steering system and its ease of install just to put in my two cents, i haven't heard anything bad about calmini from anyone on here, and their stuff all looks really solid (if i could afford it). of course there will always be haters of any product, because people would much rather complain about poor service or products than they would compliment them.

oh yeah, if the rca's are on the same side as the power wire that has a high likelihood of being your problem... i've ran them close to each other in a home stereo and had noise problems so i know its not a load of BS. try relocating them and give that a shot. you shouldn't have to do anything super complicated to fix it.

yeah i figured it would be okay since there was a "LOW" sticker on that pipe... any word on what might be wrong with the AC then?

alrighty so i think i have more serious problems... went to kragen and got one of those can rechargy things with the little gauges on it and whatnot, ran me about $30. toddled on home and hooked the thing up per the instructions on the can, and the gauge read something like 120 PSI... which was in the red, and said "CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL IMMEDIATELY! YOUR SYSTEM HAS A PROBLEM!" so i'm not entire sure if i just hooked it up to the wrong port or not... here's a picture of the one i used.

i punched another hole in that huge grommet that holds most of the rest of the wiring... its located up on the passenger's side of the firewall, jam your new wires down in there and they come out under the glove box.

alrighty yes i'm sure this has been asked before and no i couldn't find it. =) my AC is pretty darn weak, even after running for awhile its basically just blowing air around... does it need to be recharged or whatever it is they do? that's what people are tellin me and it seems legit to me =) how much does this sort of thing usually run $$$ wise? thanks =D
