Hmmm, Never been here before. This is new!

Hahah. That'd be nice! I don't plan to do any serious wheeling with it. I do need to make plans to go up and steal the other Kyle's black r50 hood.... I do find it odd there is two of us. -

Hahaha. It has my Legos with my muds on it from the wd. Sorry. -
So yeah..... i just went out and bought a 1998 SE pathfinder. And i love it. After 4 pathfinders its my first r50. Heres a pic or two... Anyone know if the newer style tail lights will fit? it'd be sorta hard to find them... hmm.

I've also never seen a wd21 with r50 wheels on it. haha so here is one.

Monday, i bought it. drove it around some and then parked for the night, and took the stereo out of my 1990 (a basically brand new color changing deck! ) and stuck it in the r50. Tuesday i just drove it to work.BUt before that i removed my warns from the wd and installed them in place of the drive plates. Then installed some auto's i had laying around from my 1994, onto the wd. (still getting used to the extra luxury... that my wd21 did have. haha. Then my friend asked me if i could take them down to Sutherlin, OR. to get a puppy. That's a 220+ mile trip. But they were paying for gas and i like to drive... so the night before i gave it a good wash. The guy drove it 5k miles in a year. and had it two years.... left town at 9 and the whole trip was about 450 miles. the truck did GREAT. Much better freeway manners than a (my) wd... Yesterday i installed my mud terrains i had on the wd with the legos. Don't like them much. Ill be looking into some highway/ allterrain tires. Today i finished getting all the the stuff out of the wd. and fixed the rattling exhaust... which turned out to be these: Why there was a clamp on the exhaust... i don't know...... probably don't want to either. But now the only issues that i have are the power steering makes this god awful squealing noise if you turn it to full lock either way. And the cv boots are torn.

unccpathfinder did it... I'm thinking it's a possibility in my future as well. a good search might turn up his thread? i think he made one... or maybe it was his pathy build thread. either way. maybe he will come about....

Less rubber depending on the size of tire you get...... i had 15" wheels with a BS of about 3.5. I miss that loook! haha. they were 8" wide i think.

THat might be the plug for the chime. you can always undo the screw or two for the dinger thing and see if its unplugged... i always remove mine. i hate them, they sound gay in these trucks and i leave my keys in my truck for music and such while working and it always is going of. haha. this last one i just snipped the wires off. But i guess if you need it to remember, that's always good thing to have. EDIT: that doesnt look like the dinger module's ive seen? Is that one that's farthest down the drivers side foot well? tucked down under some wires.

Sounds like the perfect driveway to me! Really interested in the 240. i love those cars. I love way to many cars come to think of it. I'm glad im not rich.
-
I don't think i've seen your 240?! :O YEsterday i replaced my smashed corner light, inserted new bulbs into each. and cleaned the stuff out of the back from camping...... a few weeks ago. -_- What i can't figure out, is why nissan relayed the marker/tail lights, but not the headlights!

Aww thats right, that cool alpine deck got stolen. I like that thing, CB looks pretty good there. I sunk some screws into the passenger side under glove box so my CB sits sideways.

Wheel Ticking Noise (Spacers to Blame?)
Kyle94 replied to overwest's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Do the CV's turn full time on a car50? I'm pretty sure they do... does it get worse when you turn? Does it come from front and rear? Sort of odd, my step dad's s10 does the same thing because his aluminum center caps on his aftermarket wheels are the wrong side and waddle back in forth in the center of the wheel. -
No, your rear axle is already a solid axle and is already really strong. Most will tell you it's stronger than a ford 9". And i beleive it. YOu only have to get longer springs if you raise the front any with your sas. as for the housing, i think steevo sells that as just the housing, but im not sure. There are a few threads in the how to section HERE of people that have done their own SAS. each are unique.

My plugs wires are shot and when I splash about my truck runs like Ass... Until it's dried out. Then it goes back to normal.
-
How many resistors have you fried now? Or ecus. Lol. Those tires... I keep forgetting! I just gave it a wash and wiped down the inside. Dirrrrrtttty! I may post pics of the damage later....

Over the past three days (Mon-wed) I changed the timing belt with a friend. Along with cam seals, front main seal and spark plugs! No more coating the whole underneath and side of the truck with oil. A piece of the fms was missing!!! Lol. And put it through 2 full days of harsh wheeling at Evans creek. dented a door. And bashed a fEw flat spots in my rocker panels. All in good fun. Might wash it and detail the inside tomorrow. Haha. Just to see the battle scars. A fully locked jeep lifted altleast three inches on what I think were like 33's followed us up one trail and commented on how well my pathy did on 31's at stock height with open diffs. Nothing but smiles from that guy. James, what did you break? :o

Ok guys and gals, i need help. :( Running rough... exploded hose?
Kyle94 replied to Kyle94's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Well I guess it still runs like butt when it's fully warm. It's not the o2 I unplugged it didn't go away if anything made it worse. Could I unplug the coolanttemp sensor and see if it goes away? Or? I can go buy a sensor if need be tomorrow. -

Replaced the hose. Just got done about and hour ago. It sprayed coolant (the fan did) all over but I'm sure it's just what leaked when I changed the hose. Which was a biotch by the way! Lol. Driving it to work today and I'll see if it does indeed still leak or not. Took me bout an hour and a half to two hours. Meh. -
