The 265/75/16 using a BFG tire to get the specs is 1.2 inches bigger in diameter than a 31/10.50, the section widths are the same as is the tread widths, I don't think you would have a problem running the 265/75/16 as long as the wheel is close to what the OEM offset is and close or the same width as OEM

if changing the hood makes any difference in the operating temp, I would look at the fan clutch if you still have one.

Have you checked the butterfly in the throttle body? If there is build up on the edges it will not allow enough air to flow thru when idling, when you give it gas and the butterfly opens it gets air and therefore will run. The butterfly when fully closed is designed to let some air through so it can idle. Just a thought. "The problem is that it will start and run perfect when its cold. After a couple mins it starts running like ass, wont rev, cough cough. all that. Then it dies. " This kind of makes sense also to what I just posted because the IACV will provide an air-bypass when the engine is cold for a fast idle warm up, so when the engine is first started cold until it warms up and the air-bypass closes if the butterfly is dirty not enough air passes through causing it to run like crap or not at all. Something to look into I guess.

Just checked Nissan FAST and it does show different harnesses for the rear door, I think as you said it depends on whether the truck came with power locks.

so you are saying that the electrical connectors are not tucked up inside the rear door or under the console for the switch? In past experiences with Nissan they usually only use one harness and leave the unconnected plugs tucked up out of the way ??

it does leave a gap, I still have the pathfinder marker lights on my truck with the hardbody grille Have you priced those LED headlights? A few months ago when I asked if anyone has seen them on here they were ridiculous price wise. Still are, 4 wheel parts $489 EACH !!!! The headlamp assembly in the E-bay link appears to have everything to bolt it right onto the truck but can not see from the pic if it includes the springs and adjustment screws, best bet is to hit up a junkyard, plenty of hardbody pickup's to get the headlight buckets from. If you go that route you also need the headlight plugs.

you would need to swap your headlights over to the hardbody style, not just the hardbody grille, which you would need also. You would need the headlight buckets to mount the headlights to. The picture I posted came from Rockauto under the 1994 pathfinder, fuel/air, plenum gasket section, I looked in the FSM and do not see a gasket that looks like the small one.

I was looking for the gaskets I will need to replace my valve cover gaskets and found this one for the intake plenum, where does the small gasket go?

I replied to something like this in the past but will post what I was told again: This was in speaking with a Trailmaster suspension rep that was in the 4x4 shop I used to work in years ago, I was inquiring about the lack of Nissan aftermarket support compared to what was available for Toyota's, The Trailmaster rep told me, (this is not word for word but the general statement that was made as this was almost 20 something years ago and I don't recall his exact words), "Just as many Nissan's are sold as Toyota's but we have found that the Toyota owner generally makes more money !" The following are my thoughts not from the rep. So if the aftermarket companies can make more money by making Toyota parts than Nissan parts guess who gets left out ! Thank goodness for all the small specialty shops that do not ignore the Nissan's !!!

From a search I just did on Google I've read different things, all basically say you need something, either a controller or a diode between the solar panel and the battery. The sites I looked at said you can damage the battery if the solar panel is connected directly to the battery as it could over charge the battery, I guess this would depend on the size of the solar panel as well. One guy said to connect a high wattage high temp diode in line with the output from the panel to the battery's positive and another in the line coming from the Alternator to the positive on the battery, these will only allow the power to flow one way, towards the battery and not from the alternator back to the solar panel. Another person said to use a solar panel controller. Do some more research before you connect your panel.

Let's see if this will work, Here is my old 87 hardbody, V6 Automatic, in 2 wheel drive, running 2.25 inch SS pipe from the cat test pipe back with a Borla SS muffler and Borla intercooled SS tip, posting just so you can hear what it sounds like, I think it sounded pretty good, I originally had a Flowmaster on it, way back one of the very first one's they put out but the body of the muffler cracked, than I had a Supertrapp on it, pain in the butt to adjust, so I went to the Borla which was still on it in perfect condition when I got rid of the truck:

I always recommend NGK spark plugs as that is what the OEM Nissan plugs are. I usually use the V-groove plugs in all my Nissan's but was just looking at plugs and the benefits of each different model and wanted to ask a couple questions. Does anyone use the "G-power" NGK plugs? If the standard plug is fine but the Iridium claim " Iridium IX® offers extreme ignitability, improved throttle response and superior anti fouling" would it be worth spending more if the plugs last longer and offer the benefits claimed above? I know the platinum and iridium plugs are quite a bit more than the standard or the V-groove plugs but what about the G- Power plugs? They aren't that much more each over the V-groove plugs. What are your opinions and feelings, experience regarding the different models of NGK (only NGK) plugs? Thanks all.
