  1. I'll look for you when I go, at least your steering wheel is on the correct side !! LOL
  2. I FIGURED IT OUT !! WOO HOO !!! LOL the switch on the rear door has 5 wires, white, white/pink, black, blue and blue/something not sure of the colors at the moment, anyway the white comes from the drivers door switch and controls up/down, the black comes from the drivers door and controls up/down, again not sure which way I checked these yesterday, the 2 blue go to the window motor, that left the white/pink, no power on the white/pink, thought maybe it was a ground tried grounding it still did not work. Today realized the rear door switch has to have power to make the electric motor work when using the rear window switch, pulled the drivers rear switch and the white/pink wire has power when the key is on, pass side did not, removed the front door sill plate and found the white/pink wire and it had power, removed the pass seat, seat belt bolt, folded the carpet back and found the harness goes thru a plastic cover that makes like a "U" to avoid running near the seat belt bolt, unscrewed the plastic cover (2 screws), flipped it over and started looking for the white/pink wire, finally found it and found what looked like a burnt area filled with what looked like dirt or something, checked the wire, power on the front side none on the rear, cut out the bad part and connected the 2 halves with a butt connector, checked rear window and IT WORKED !!!, taped all the wires up and put everything back together. Feels good when you finally figure out a problem like this especially an electrical problem, couldn't get any help from anyone here but that is ok, that's what I'm here for, LOL thanks anyway!!!
  3. on the bottom of the open pocket at the rear of the console there should be a piece of rubber or carpet, underneath there should be 2 screws as that is where the rear of the console screws down to the floor, with the one I had, you had to remove the rubber, than the 2 screws, drop in the new arm rest storage unit (lower pic in your thread) and put the 2 screws back in, I can't see your truck being that different than our US models even though you are in Portugal. But I will still look for the console for you
  4. that should be no problem
  5. your talking about the round canister on the drivers side fender well that has like 2 bolts going thru it and has the filter in it? Only found on the VG30i engines?
  6. the bottom pic should not need to be adapted, it should just drop into your console. On my old 87 pickup it originally came with the console with the lid, Nissan first came out with a cushioned armrest that screwed onto the lid, which was nice because it was raised up and you could use it. Later with the pathfinder they came out with the style in your lower pic which I bought from the dealer and installed into mine. Just keep posting what you may need, if I go this Saturday I'll condense the list and print it out and see what I can find. When I get home I will post what I found and what I did not. I'm not made of money so I may not have enough on me to purchase certain items, small things can probably be sneaked out, but if I do go I will reply back to anyone's reply on what you have asked about.
  7. I would download the factory service manual if you don't have it already, loads of info in there.
  8. not sure, If I go this Saturday I'll print up a list of requests and also will note what each vehicle at the junkyard has as to tranny, 2 or 4 wheel drive, maybe take pics of each of them and than will be able to replay better. This past Saturday I had my own list of items I was looking for and other than what I needed didn't really look for anything else. maybe other members who have pathfinders and trucks plentiful in their area can do something like this as well, we can get a Nissan parts ring started. the nice thing about like switches and electrical parts is I can try them out in my pathfinder to make sure they work before an item can be shipped out.
  9. oh the 98 I took the rear light cover out of, LOL I believe it was an auto, what are you looking for?
  10. Was just thinking since a lot of members here can not find parts they need locally that it might be a good idea to start grabbing some of the small items that commonly wear out or break. It seems pathfinders (as well as hardbody's) are pretty plentiful down here, this past Saturday we went to 3 junkyards and there had to be at least 10 pathfinders, maybe 4 of them were 2 doors, and I know there was about the same number of pickups. I would be willing to look for and pull some of the common parts that wear out, I won't pull fenders, hoods or large items as shipping would be a hassle but if anyone is looking for anything small, ex. switches, sway bar mounts, etc. let me know and I'll keep an eye out for the parts. Not looking to make a profit just trying to help out. here is the current inventory from one of my local yards:
  11. hope they wear better than the old grabbers cause they sucked
  12. off topic a little but I guess even with a 3" body lift the pathfinder will sit lower than a hardbody with the 3" body lift. Has anyone tried swapping the body mounts over from a hardbody into a pathfinder?
  13. need to figure this out so I can put my door back together anyone have any thoughts?
  14. and if the fan clutch wasn't allowing the fan to move enough air maybe it would stay under the hood longer?? Do you notice under your hood being really hot?
  15. I've replaced them before I will try what you were told tomorrow, the AC I think is not getting cold because the fan may not be moving enough air across the condenser, which I kind of verified by simulating driving and spraying water on the condenser. thanks for your reply, appreciate it.
  16. just want to add that the pathfinder torsion bars are longer than the hardbody's, 48.43" vs 47.44". Sway a way no longer sells 2 stage torsion bars but they did make them for Nissan motor sports about 10 years ago, (just got a reply to an e-mail I wrote to them) ----------- regarding the 4" trailmaster kit the exhaust modification is only for the V6 trucks, and the big downside to this kit in my opinion is that the torsion bars will be dropped 4 " and are visible below the frame which looks crappy to me. On a side note I have a copy of the instructions for this kit if anybody would like to see what is involved in installing it I will be glad to scan it and post it. ------------ just thought of something else that comes into play when raising the Nissan, this applies whether you use a body lift or suspension, the increased load on the ball joints as well as the idler arm from running a larger than stock sized tire and especially with a wheel wider than 7" causes the steering components, ball joints and idler arm to wear out quicker. Running a larger wheel and tire and having the front end come off the ground can also lead to the idler arm bending, ( I know from experience trust me)
  17. I know the normal things to look for, play in the bearing, wobble, fan not spinning fast when engine is hot, able to stop the blade with pc of cardboard, but how can I really tell if the fan clutch may be bad if I don't have any of those symptoms? I mean the truck runs 1/4 above the cold all the time, reason I'm asking is I am trying to figure out why my AC isn't getting real cold. I am talking to some people on an AC forum I use and they are pointing towards the fan not moving enough air. Today as a test I ran the AC in the driveway while running water over the condenser and the AC temp at the vents was about 14 degrees lower than it normally gets without the water or while driving (40 to 54). Just wondering if even though the fan appears to be running at the right speed maybe it's supposed to be turning faster. Ac was just charged and expansion valve replaced.
  18. it may be poor insulation but it works better than none at all, what are you looking for in the junkyards for a D21? the door gaskets? Don't the door seals glue on?
  19. front and rear what? there is only one gasket for the sunroof, the one that goes on the body side, there is a gasket on the edge of the glass but that just seals out debris
  20. 94 pathfinder my rear pass. side window was not working, today it will roll up and down from the drivers door switch but nothing from the rear door switch, being that the wires from the drivers switch run thru the rear door switch and out to the window motor, (checked this with test light), why would the window not move from the rear door switch? The switch is good as I tried it on the drivers side and it works fine. ANYONE???
  21. why would the stock shroud need to be removed at all? why can't the stock belt driven fan be replaced with a similar sized electric fan that still mounts inside the stock shroud?
