  1. The one thing I can make out is that the sealed beam and DOT Hella are going to have similar light spread. But the Hella is a much better choice as there is a range of high quality bulbs that can be installed in it. The E-code light will produce the best light output with a flat cut off to the left, and a nice up sweep to the right for illuminating road signs.
  2. Yeah, but the guy I quoted said Nissan owners. So that includes everyone. the newer Z crowd isn't exactly the favorable type either.

    Fuel Pump

the stock fuel pump assembly is rather long. If you can find the dimensions of the tank, just use the complete height of it as a good guess as it bolts up right on top and the pick up filter sock sits on the bottom of the tank.

    Fuel Pump

Out of curiosity, why? Seems like a lot of work to make it work some other way when it works perfectly fine as it is.

    Fuel Pump

Internal pumps are not designed to be used externally, the fuel in the tank is what cools the pump. Look in to going race car status with one of those fuel cells.
  6. tires make a huge difference and that's one thing most people don't realize. Both of your trucks should have the exact same suspension, but depending on mileage, one could have more wear than the other.
  7. Go to ANY 240/S-Chassis/silvia meet, and you'll quickly change your view.
  8. I think auto climate was standard on the LE trim, and optional on the other's. And it's the badass two tone black and silver?? So sad! The one I had seen was the maroon/red color.
  9. Just like the only place I've seen the epic rare VG30E two door is in a junkyard.
  10. My old 95XE had every option my current 95SE has excluding rear disc brakes, adjustable suspension, sunroof, and 31x10.50 tires from the factory. I do prefer the SE interior, much more comfortable than the XE stuff.
  11. I've had to do this with my transfer case drain on several occasions, even after reinstalling it myself and not getting crazy with it.
  12. I really like the wheels that are on it now. Just buy another one and put it on the carrier with keyed lug nuts, but that's my opinion.
  13. I like how new wheels/tires were bought for it but the factory "too small for even an XE" spare is still on the carrier.
  14. no cat because race truck! The only reason I would purposefully remove my catalytic converter (in my truck) is if I did field work and was constantly driving and idling over tall dry'ish grass.
  15. From what I've heard the KM's are better off road, but loud on road. the KM2's are still really great, but much quieter tread design. I LOVE my KM2's.
  16. All the mirrors swap, 87-95. If you buy them used, the color of black will be different on each one because of different amounts of sun fading.
  17. They're different frequency radios, so it shouldn't. Might even help your FM radio...
  18. Clean it? I just drive it to the mall and back, how did it get dirty??
  19. Not the classiest of installs, but it works for me. I normally have it mounted to the back of the center console, but my truck was broken in to and they stole my radio along with the little screw things that hold it to the bracket.
  20. I'll take a picture later. Out of sight out of mind really. I forget it's even there most of the time, aside from having a 4 foot lightning rod on the tire carrier...
  21. Mine is "mounted" between the passenger seat and the center console.
  22. The obvious is that you should have started your own thread. The other obvious thing is to make sure that the bulbs are good.
  23. ^^^ Beat me to it. Was going to say the exact same thing.
  24. In 20 years I hope to still have my current Pathfinder.
