  1. OP, if you're willing to swap the entire front end, then it shouldn't be a problem. The thing is that the whole front end is interconnected and not mix and match-able.
  2. The mounting hardware for those lights is supposed to be mounted vertically, which is why you can't adjust it to aim higher. Just sayin'
  3. Yeah I would recommend using a rubber grommet. That's what I did after I drilled through it.
  4. The prong towards the top in this pic is the trigger, the prong to the lower right is the switch's ground, and the prong to the lower left is the switch's power.
  5. The light, medium, and heavy duty are referring to loads, not height from what I understand. IE heavy duty will give you .5" of lift with a heavy load, medium .5" with medium load etc. Naturally though, if you go heavy duty with no load then you're probably gonna get more lift. Tekaz, you could try ordering custom springs. I forget the company/website but if you search you'll probably find it.
  6. Snake oil is what I'm thinking also. But I try not to be too quick to judge so I thought I'd get others' input as well.
  7. http://www.fueldoctorusa.com/ Just saw a commercial for this. First thought was "That's bogus." Then I went to the website and they supposedly have the stuff to back it up, plus a money-back guarantee. Thoughts?
  8. I just drilled through my roof rack. The curvature of the bar isn't a problem, just adjust your lights to aim correctly. I don't have any problem with light reflecting off the hood. The only problem I do have is that I have to shut the sunroof shade 'cause light will come in through the sunroof and is annoying, even with the lights forward of the sunroof.
  9. Would upgraded recovery points be the only other option?
  10. F/R pocket: Cell phone R/R pocket: Wallet R/L pocket: Box cutter (If I'm working) F/L pocket: Auxiliary (ie anything else) Keys are on R/R belt loop
  11. How would I use a tow rope without hooks if my factory tow points are closed loops?
  12. Building your own silencer, or silencers period? I thought I heard you could get silencers legally, but there's a lot of red tape, wait time, and money involved.
  13. Like Precise1 said, another reason to have a snorkel is to get cleaner, cooler air. Lots of people in the outback have them for this reason.
  14. I think I'd drive any of those cars in your link before I drove an Aztek. Just sayin'.

  16. THAT right there is freaking messed up.
  17. Yeah thanks for your insight. A gun will probably last a lot longer than a lift. I still want to get a lift though. haha I think I may sell my drum kit. I don't play it anymore and it's taking up space.
  18. I'm getting the gun, next week hopefully. Still going with the Ruger. I don't think I really need a 50 cal haha, and we're good on shotguns. .223/5.56 is a lot cheaper and more readily available than those other rounds.
  19. ^ Exactly. Criminals will always have guns no matter how many laws, restrictions, and regulations are put on the book. A lot of politicians just don't understand that. They're just making it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. But I don't want to make this into a political topic. Just my two cents. I would love to live in an open-carry state! Makes criminals think twice about messing with you. Classic.
  20. Yeah it's a little over $100 here also. @180sx 10 bucks? That doesn't sound right. But if it is only 10 bucks; more power to ya! I'd like to eventually get my CCW permit someday. I wanna get a carbine first though.
  21. ^ That's how mine is. Antenna only goes up when I listen to radio (which is next to never).
