  1. Yeah it all depends on whether or not you want to put a winch on there. Otherwise, the t17 is a good choice. If you do some searching around the 96+ Pathy forum, you'll find a link the the website that sells the TJM bumpers. I'll try to look for it later. DJ
  2. Welcome to the board! Hope we can be of some help to you !
  3. Wow nice pics! That looks like so naaasssty mud!!!
  4. Glad you made it over Ryan! Welcome to the board!!!
  5. Well you get 168 hp stock I believe. So with intake and exhaust, you'll still be below 200. But with a tranny cooler, there are peeps who tow 4k-5k lbs. Dependibilty is I think the best thing about the car. Right now there is only a 2" lift out and available. $1200 for rims??? -thnkboutit- Thats way too much to spend...if you take them offroad often, they'll be toast.
  6. I'm not sure how my 98 differs...but did you already remove the center console panel? Those two screws that come out right below the center console by the shifter and ashtray...Thats how I access my Clarion deck when I put it in. MY XM radio has these clips that fit right into the center ducts and they hold it up pretty well. I remember being able to see the duct that leads up to the vents...maybe you can reach the clips that way...
  7. I see them on ebay all the time. In fact there's one thats $175. But like I said, why not pay a little more for sliderz?
  8. First of all, welcome to the board! Lots of peeps here that can help you. But let me say one thing. If you bought the Pathfinder to try to race then its the wrong car for you. The Pathy is just one hell of a dependable car that will be able to go places your Sentra could only dream of. Throw a lift, bigger tires, exhaust, intake and you're set. But you won't be smoking corvettes...
  9. darn vengeful...that sucks!!! I hope you do find the bastard. But I can't wait to see the TJM on there!
  10. Ouch for that much you might as well get sliders. Jeez. Yeah mine are rusting a tiny bit but I'm just holding out till I get mine.
  11. Yes ross, when I tinted my windows, I put a 5% dark semi metallic tint on mine. It just added to the mirror effect. I like it because the stock tint was good only during the day when the sun was out but at night it was useless. I have a huge sound system so I don't want people to be able to look in. Now, if you stick your face right up to the rear windows you can't see a thing. You can click on my link to see some examples.
  12. Yeah the stock tint on SE's is a mirror like tint. Just like Big_J, I tinted my windows over the mirror tint and the result is identical to his. Very nice look. But I'm a fan of the semi metallic.
  13. The clunking sounds just like CV problems...

    Any gamers

Yeah I'm a BF1942 junkie. Especially the Desert Combat mod.
  15. Yeah I agree. It is big. That must be the trend...bigger is betteR?
  16. On my 98: The green light on the dash that appears when 4x4 is engaged stopped working last year. And the worst one that I can't figure out is the shudder during acceleration. Its either the MAF sensor or dirty MAF sensor...I changed the fuel filter...no fix. Still trying to figure it out!
  17. Nice to see a local member! Welcome to the board!
  18. I hope you aren't talking about the ones on Ebay. The auctions where they sell you a resistor worth about a nickel and tell you it'll increase hp by 25!
  19. Yes very true but speed wasn't what I was thinking. I was thinking more along the lines of fuel efficiency and usage. With the added weight, I'm just more concerned about any kind of noticeable fuel usages. :secret:
  20. Anyone know the difference in weight between sliders and the running boards? With the addition of a TJM t-17 and some sliders, its gotta be almost the equivalent of an extra passenger isn't it? at least?
  21. Ugggghhh..that sucks. I forgot all about that. What about ARB? Anything from them?
