Anybody know how to set up a ping timer? Do we know the guy's IP or is he ghosting?
-
That just tells you if the moderators don't like you. The higher the number the less they like you.

Ok, Here is one of the ones that I have made, sorry I wasn't able to fit all the different generations of Pathyies in. I will try that on another pic. I used 88's, Slicks, and Mr. Jims Pathies on here. What do you think. Edit: view the image to see its actual size.

Wait for meeeee! I am making one right now. I don't know if we are still working on this but might as well submit

my gas gauge registers 3/4 when it is full and so I have had it way below the empty mark sly but I usually fill up when it registers empty.

When I did my t-bars I had to redo it several times because I did not put the bolt in the right position. You actually start the tension way below the anchor and if you don't do it right if feels like you're maxing out then you put the truck on the ground and it sinks I did that and just about had a heartattack, but after a little more time I figured out the problem
-
Just a thought, but is it well greased? Don't know if that would affect it. you know what you said it sounds like bbs maybe your wheel bearing are going.
-
With your torsion bars if you just crank them up how you want them then you bring it to get aligned they should fix it for you. At least thats what they did with mine. I did a ton of front end work then I did the torsion bars and limped it into the alignment shop and they gave me an alignment and fixed the level for 50.00 but I would ask them if they would do it before you commit to anything. As for the tranny fluid problem I don't know what to say If you decide to go with a different car don't throw the nissan down the gutter because in my experience and from things I have heard the pathy is a very reliable truck.

Well I take back my statement about it being probably slow for the first couple days. Apparently everyone had the same attitude I did, and checked back every day hoping that it would work :cool2:
-
Man after so long I am afraid some of the members are not going to find out for a while, so I am expecting small amounts of traffic for the next two days. OH well it just means POHO will be slow
-
yes if you refer to the POHO thread 88 talks about how he fixed it. I must say I was going into "withdrawal" because of this lets all

Here is a photo of the Knuckle or Spindle

Is that what that what that switch was for, I could not figure it out so I went to trace it and it was cut off behind the dash so I wired my new foglights into it.

Lower Ball Joints Removal

I am pretty sure that is for a differential Locker system
-
Well keep us posted and good luck
-
That is only for manual Locking hubs Auto locking hubs you can only be going like 30

I just looked at my receipt again and it was not the 80 some dollars that I had thought before for the strut rod bushings oops By the way your compression rod bushings are Stut rod bushings here is a link to a post about them they are very easy to replace and the only problem is that if you try to put them on with your control arm connected it is very difficult to connect the strut rod to cA mounting bolts but you can pry them into place. Yep
-
YO Superson did you ever figure out what the problem was.

According to the manual that E-AT power switch is something that keeps the tranny from shifting till it reaches a higher Rpm, I have noticed that if you put the pedal all the way to the floor, (not from a standstill) it is very noticeable and the rpms go way up, it is a way to get going fast in a hurry. I don't think that it affects the driving at all except under excess accellaration. :contract: I have the switch on my 91
-
Wow, I never new that this topic could turn into a fighting match. Thanks I think I figured out that it is basically just personal preference, no need to die over.
-
On my 91 pathy I have had a problem where if I lock the door then shut it it unlocks, this happens with the front doors. I found that if I hold the door handle while I shut it then it stays locked. I don't have a whole lot to worry about cause I have manual everything cept tranny and hubs. -bounce-

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I have seen several pathy's outfitted with a solid axle and I was wondering what was better. IFS vs. Solid axle?
