I drowned my 91 a few years back and killed the ECU, it would still fun, but wouldn't rev very high and was running REAL rich. I just bought a used on (auto) and I was away. Don't buy a Maxima one, they don't fit. By all means try your old one.

Need to see pics of this clip. When I bought my 91 she had a stuck rear piston, so I crossed my fingers and pumped the brake to pop it out. Cleaned up the rust with a light sand using 600gt sandpaper. popped it back in (still with the old seals) and has been good ever since, touch wood.

My bad Adam... I missed your post, better late than never Shifts really nice, Hard shifting seams faster and gentle shifting is sometimes unnoticeable. I wish I could post a vid, but it's really one of those things you need to feel. That's a damn good idea

I was thinking that I've seen a few sets of those flares here before, but can't be sure...I'm certain that they had the body line running through the one's I've seen here. I'll let you know if I find anything

Just Talked My Buddy Into Buying A 1995 Pathfinder!
TerranoNZ replied to FUELER's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I'll go with that, my 93 had a round tooth belt. -
My white 91 (sig pic) and a 94 I bought for $300 with a blown up diesel.

So your reason is to stop road grime? Really? When are you going to remount the radiator and AC? I'VE GOT IT..... Drive in reverse everywhere
-
I'm sure you've heard of KISS What's your reason for moving it? Not taking the piss, I just don't know why you'd need to move it Too much spare time?

Good to hear, the thing to remember about stupid things is WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE It's what you learn from it that counts.

I noticed that on 2 VG30's that have had broken exhaust studs that the answer is "3" Just wanted to see if there was any pattern.... Might be a hot spot of the head or something

They are all over the show with what they put in where. As far as I've seen we in NZ never got cruise control, alarms or ABS. My 93 has a round dash, but I've seen 95's with square ones. Both my 91 and 93 have auto up and down windows. No rhyme or reason.

Hard to answer as it's all relative To me and quite a few others it's a piece of cake, but I bet to some it looks daunting. Do you know someone mechanically minded to help you?
-
That was nothing Have a look at the head on my 93's old engine

Easy enough done, though being a MPFI you will need to remove the intake manifold to get to the left head. If you don't really know what your in for, buy a manual or find the FSM that is floating around here...Somewhere. When you get the covers off you'll see this Just undo the 6/12mm head bolts (EVENLY) and remove the rockers and shafts, then the lifter housing comes right off. I'd still bet money on rocker shafts, but hey. Good luck. BTW other than basic tools you will need a torque wrench that goes as low as 18-22nm

2nded Heat Shrink and solder is the ONLY long term fix.

I've seen that video

Sounds like what my old 88 had... I'd bet good money on the lifter rocker shafts This is what mine looked like Seeing as you have MPFI you will need to remove the intake top section to get to the other head. I would say with a good/new set of rockers and shafts it'd be good to go...I put a used set in my 88 and stopped the ticking Give things a damn good clean while your in there.

Power Steering High Pressure Line
TerranoNZ replied to Chriskaw440's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I had to replace that hose in my old 88. I drove it 25km, pulled it out and dropped it off to a friend of my brothers who welded on new fittings and gave it a new piece of hose. put it back in and I was away. The guy was a hydraulic hose repairer, cost me $40NZ cash. You could try that route, especially if your driving without it now -
Or just get the factory 4:88's out of a later model Terrano, like the 94 I wreaked

That happened to me after getting the trans back in... I kinda knew that I would of left a harness loose. Dash went dead and no shifting, I limped in to course, found the wires that had melted on the header. Tied it up out of the way...Still nothing. Checked fuses and found 1 dead, replaced it and vroom Hope yours is that easily solved B. It could be worse..... BELIEVE ME I'd be checking for more melted wires. Now..... FIX MY COOLING PROBLEM
