It could be the diffs though if they are low it will start burning the fluid and metal on metal friction is also not good

I use 10w40 Valv. High milage and it runs very strong.

To get to all of the parts your gonna need to rip off the whole front of the engine like fan radiator altinatorpower steering pump water pump and then there is like a metal shield over the water pump and t-belt and the camgears

I just run 32psi in my 31x10.50 15s and then i drop the pressure when i 4x4

I think it was MrJim that did that with the pics of the Pathfinder in the shop while they were atatching the headers to the truck

original tranny the oil cooler is huge at about 1 foot tall and about alittle more than a 1/2 foot wide. its infront of the radiator and the AC cooler

Man you have low miles on your Pathfinder!!!! mine is a 95 with almost 130,000k

One thing that has been working very well for my local group is alittle thing called plastic welding you just grab a decent sized tie wrap and a sottering gun and just go to town on it ,it works just like regular welding exept with plastic instead of metal.

my rear stock tow hooks are blocked by my tow hitch so they are useless to me

Does it feel like its clinging to the gears?? If so check the power switch to see if its on or not

Im thinking about Super Charging my Pathfinder along with getting a new AT transmission SuperCharger $1,500 AT tranny $1,800 Anything else Ive forgotten??? To do the job right??

Ive been having transmission overheating problems even though i got a aftermarket oil cooler hooked up and everything. the tranny gets so hot that it just stops working sometimes i could have my foot to the floor and it wont respond at all when im on the highway going up a hill is really bad. it feels like my Pathfinder weighs a million pounds any ideas?? I also came across a problem when i changed out the fluid....it was dark and purple due to the overheating :furious:

there is two hooks in the back not in the front

what happens if you leave the manual hubs unlocked but the transfercase in 4wd??

Isnt there only one tow hook on the front?? atleast on mine anyways

NAH MAN JUST TOO MUCH GOING ON LIKE POLICE REPORTS AND OF COARSE THE WRECK

Hey guys im back after some bad stuff happened my car club almost went down the drain me and 3 other members of my group were heading home from a friday night cruise and 2 of them took off racing and all of the sudden a cop flashed his lights at them and one of my friends tried to ditch him and took a 90o corner going about 70 mph and lost control and smashed over a curb and smashed through a power pole and electrical box. i saw big black snake looking things flying up in the air across the road and i was like what the f***!? so i locked up my breaks and and slid to a stop and one of the 3 in. power lines smacked down onto the hood of my truck. and i looked over at my friends camaro and it looked just like a wreck out of a bad movie. dust everywhere and the cab lights were on so i jumped out of my truck and ran over live lines and got to my friend, he was in shock and could not talk. So i was trying to talk to him when all the sudden I see a large RV heading twards the downed lines and all i could do is watch!. the RV hit the lines and one of them cut the RV in half longways!! and then a dodge dakota ran into the back of the RV ( they were traveling together!) They jumped out of their truck and yelled there are 3 people in the back of that RV!!!!!!!!!! and at that time my friend almost fainted MORE TO COME!!! damage 1 totaled camaro 1 totaled RV 1 smashed up mustang GT (my friends) $150,000 worth of downed power and phone lines
