  1. what are your guys take on running 20w50 oil in a Pathfinder? i got a head gasket leak too
  2. mine too one time i overfilled it and it just kept on dumping out of my overflow tube
  3. What do u guys think about running 2 1/2 in. pipe strait off the cat out the back back pressure, sound?

  5. well i got a new cat and what do u know it dosent smell any more my old cat i did the water-through-the-cat-test and the water mostly overflowed out of the top of it!! but im still only running exhaust to the cat only and im going to run duals from the cat on out in the future
  6. yep once again when i thought i was out of danger. when i hit the highway and i hit a hill the transmission kind of skips around almost like its trying to engage overdrive but it jumps right back out and when im flooring it the tranny skips like it jumps from 3000rpm to 3300 to 3600 to 3900 all the way up to about 4800 rpm and then it kind of looses power after that. :help: ????

    Yah my truck does that once in a while when i start it too it sounds like metal on metal sound for like 2 or 3 seconds on cold starts. anyone else have this problem???

  9. i am the same way ive invested 3K into the engine maintinance now my Pathfinder in running very strong
  10. yah u have to remove the pannel on the right rear side it will be by the clarion amp that powers your rear speakers it looks like a brass box with a sticker with a letter on it my computer had a B sticker on it
  11. U have to open up the right rear inner panel. its the brass looking box on the left side of the clarion amp for the rear speakers. u just disconnect the wiring brackets for about 2-5 min and reasemble then u may want to reset the ECU box by disconnecting the battery for like 2 min and reconnect
  12. I use Valvoline durablend and it works great
  13. I use Valvoline Synthetic Blend and it seems to make it run alot smoother I went in to have the oil changed at 3200 miles and the oil still had a lite brown look to it now that is some good oil!

  17. Is there any way to mess with the stock fog lights to make them run w/o the headlights on. or to make them run with the high beams on???

Yup mine did the same thing i also found out my local repair shop ripped me off! during the time when they put in my new water pump they stabbed two holes in my radiator and tried to cover it up by addind a bunch of that crappy radiator stop leak now i have a nice steal and brass radiator in there at their cost hehehe compared to the original plastic and aluminum one. Question: how do you replace the thermostat??? anyone have problems with blowing oil seals/gaskets after installing a water pump?

  21. Lately my Pathfinder has been smelling like rotten eggs when i drive it at highway speeds :oops: :X could my cat be clogged? if so any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  23. I reset my tranny computer and ive not had any problems since and changing my fluid and filter took like 4 1/2 hrs and i was also covered by tranny fluid! :oops:
