  1. Easy Skrilla. I love my pathy just the way it is. I have a Nissan remanufactured motor with 90k. and a Nissan remenufactured tranny with 0k. I just wanted to price a new used motor in case of a problem. -argue-
  2. What specific model engines are compatible with my '95 pathy? VG...? what about a deisel?
  3. I have a 95 Pathfinder SE. Can I swap my existing V6 with a twin turbo Z? :secret: -study- -alcohol- :allclean:
  4. I buy all of my nissans from Spicer Auto-- Ashland Va. Any vehicle that you purchase from him is warranteed for 1 year--anything! He has been great so far. I've owned three nissans through him. He finances himself too. My '95 path that I purchased from him has been great but the manifold has the tick. I'm going to take it to him when my next oil change is due. Hopefully he will fix it properly. He changes the oil free for the first year.
  5. Read the thread diesel! It's for my p-up/hardbody. I've got plenty of clearance on my path for the rootin' that I do.
  6. How do ya'll recon the headers will effect noise levels? My '95 Path has the tick. I'm under warranty and the dealer says he can usually fix the tick by replacing 1-2 studs. His first try failed. I may have to raise Cain on my next visit. I like those boys but not enough to eat $1000.00 after my warranty is over. If I have to replace on my own dime I'm going with the headers unless there are hidden drawbacks.
  7. I was looking at suspension kits for my Nissan p-up. Kit includes: shocks, torsion bars, a-arms, and add-a-leaf. Has anyone done one in their driveway? What kind of problems might I encounter?
  8. My engine compartment is full of mud. If I had to cross the deep stuff I'd be in trouble! Are there any aftermarket improvements for this?
  9. I ran a search and can not find procedure for shock replacement. Can anyone help? I want to upgrade to rancho 5000. I cant figure out what size either. I also need to replace the shocks on my hardbodyn p-up if anyone can help.
  10. I'm having trouble finding components for my 95 Pathfinder. I need a brushguard. I found a shop to install Rancho shocks, steering compensator, and rear locker all for under $1400. Does that sound reasonable? I cant find a supplier for brushguard! After these and a tranny cooler I think I'll be ready for the big stuff!
  11. I have a '95 Pathfinder. I want to upgrade the suspention affordably and without any lift. I want to maintain a stock appearance. I am going to put a tranny coller in. I ordered step rails and brush guard. Now I'm looking for functional stuff. Where is a good start. Tell me what function your suggestion serves as I'm ignorant. I want her to be trail ready!
  12. I just bought a '95 Pathfinder. It has a brand new Nissan tranny and 90k on the motor. I have heard that these auto transmissions have filters that clog easily and as a result may destroy the tranny. Is this true? Is there anything that I can do to prevent this? -bounce-
