  9. I noticed the other day that if I pull out of an intersection and I am heavey on the fun pedal that my Pathfinder will pick up either the front or rear tire. It depends on how the road is sloped. I do have my torsion bars cranked, Grand Cherokee springs out back, a 2 inch body lift, and my sway bars are connected when driving on the street. I don't have a problem with it doing that (its fun to scare the crap out of my wife now and then)I was just wondering if anybody elses does that.
  10. Found where rubbing noise was comming from !! The collar on the end of the drive shaft was rubbing the bell on the end of the trans. All it took to fix was putting the rear axle on jack stands. Putting path in nutral and turned drive shaft by hand till I heard it rubbing. All it took was a little tap from a hammer. NO MORE NOISE !!!!

  15. Thanks, I work for the govmt so I have alot of time in my day to think up stuff like that. It works great I can take the pin out without getting under the pathy. The pin is for a hmmwv windsheild.
  16. The disconnect I made. I took out the swivel bolt, had the cup filled with weld, and drilled a hole for the pin. Works great.

  18. I made a set of quick disconnects for the rear sway bay. I noticed about 4 inches more travel with it off. I just don't know what to do to keep it from hanging down below the axle when disconnected.picture with sway bar disconnected
  19. Where in PA is Pgh

  20. I just replaced the rotors in july. I thought it might be a warped rotor. It's getting worse and i'm starting to get looks from johnny law when I sqeal up to a stop sign. Not to mention the exhaust leaking. I need to do some major work to path before I end up donateing money to the township. Just need some nice weather.
  21. I'm hoping its nice out tomorrow so I can look.I know it's not The dust sheild or a warped rotor. I just put on a new rotor that was my first guess so I put a new one on. Thanks for the help
  22. ok this is driving me crazy. When ever i'm going down the road and lightly get on the brakes I get this noise coming from what sounds like the passenger front. It sounds like the pad warning strip hitting the rotor but I have taken the tire off checked the pads they are fine. I have torn down the whole axle looking for something rubbing but have not seen anything. Now its starting to do it when I let off the gas. Any ideas?
  23. Just got done putting jgc springs on my path. I got about an inch and a half of lift out of them witch is enough for now. The back end set lower after cranking the front suspension up. So now she sits level. It took me about 45 min to do (since I read this forum about 20 times). Want to say thanks to 88 theres alot of great info and it saved me from lugging half my tool box to the salvage yard.
