  1. Thats the ecu, your computers electrical brain. If you go in deep water or there may be a chance, relocate it to the glove box as many of us have done.
  2. I am thinking about making a snorkel, and I forgot how my airbox goes together since it's been a while. Does the MAF sensor just bolt to the other side of this copper piece or am i missing a piece? sorry for the crappy phone pic
  3. Ahh yes, the DRLCM. If one of your headlights isn't working, go bang the hood/fender by the battery and I bet it'll come on or flicker. Pretty common problem with the Canadian models. I took mine apart to look for any cracks in the solder but it looked fine. Ended up buying a new one from a stealershp for bout $120. Plugged it in and it works, no more hassle. Headlights are pretty important, so I just gave in and did it. Thats probably not much difference than the ticket you could get for 1 headlight not working anyways.
  4. A whole rear hatch for $35? wow thats cheap! I know there are 3 or 4 pathfinders at the Pick N Pull in Edmonton, depending on where you are it may be worth checking out. Not black as far as I remember, but depending on their price you could always paint it or have it painted.
  5. You would want all 4 to be the same, and the first link is the ones you would want. I have the same ones and I like them. I see you are in Canada also, expect to pay pretty close to $400 (shipping, customs) even though they are so cheap looking online. I got an american racing wheel locally for my spare in the same design for the price that the wheels from summit ended up costing, shop around a bit at local tire shops.
  6. this is 2.25" from the Y back with a flowmaster 40 and cone filter intake pretty bad clip, but you kinda get the idea. http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b101/thi...exhaustclip.flv
  7. My old '92 was stolen - the thieves took the stereo and went 4x4'ing. Trashed the locks and stuff, but we got it back. An alarm system would be a good deterrent.
  8. I don't have one anymore. It runs fine, no different than before.... and you don't gain anything by removing it.
  9. The fluid is sitting at max in my MC, I did do some stop/go tests around the block a couple times. These pads were more expensive than the last ones, supposedly better quality. The rotors need to be changed, but I'm not up for that right now - going to do the suspension lift and everything all at once since I'll be down there.
  10. Just replaced the front brake pads on the pathfinder, everything went well. Took my test drive and the pedal is soft, I know this usually means time to bleed the system, but could simply changing my pads introduce air? or do i just need to do some pedal pumping so everything sets in? Fluid level is good and the brake pedal had fine pressure this morning. Also, the brakes work well and i can squeal the tires on a quick stop.... but i have to push the pedal almost all the way in.
  11. I bought them from a small company called Littlefoot Offroad, I was sent there by Kn0xville. Unfortunately, the price has gone up quite a bit since he got his. Oh well, I know I'll be getting a quality product at least
  12. He probably couldn't understand my perfect Canadian pronunciation seeing as he was from the deep south
  13. I got some on the way from a RC dealer now, all is well.
  14. So I called rough country just now and the guy told me that the kits are all boxed up and they only sell them as the entire kit. I explained the situation, but he was having none of it - whole kits only. If I recall correctly, several people have ordered these UCA's with no trouble - was it direct from RC or through someone else?
  15. Let us know how the rewire goes, I need to do the same.
  16. I have 4 lights going on the roof in a week or so (whenever they arrive). Planning on using the cb mounts to attach them. I have an amsoil filter with a sentra (i think) intake adapter off ebay that cost $4 or so.... It gets wet pretty easy, she wanted to stall on me during some water crossings I did earlier this summer. I think i will make a shield for it or go the snorkel route soon because this needs to be improved a bit. It resulted in a better exhaust note when I added this filter too, but I already have an aftermarket exhaust too. I'll grab a pic of it installed tomorrow if i remember.
  17. i have 32s and its not too bad.... you can always re-gear too.
  18. Good work! The rear bumper relocates easily as mentioned, I still have not come up with a solid solution for my front bumper though... it kinda just hangs there
  19. I have had mine off since the spring and I have not noticed a difference in on-road handling, but it sure flexes good now
  20. Glad to hear that thread helped. Do you have any pics of your snorkel setup?
  21. Heres my ECU relo thread http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=14020 I need to build a snorkel or do something with my intake next.

    Cat Options

The o2 sensor on a WD21 is located before the cat, so once (if) the cat is removed, the o2 sensor remains in place and operates normally.

    Cat Options

I don't have a cat. Funny you should mention the o2 sensor though. I did the exhaust a year ago and there were no issues. my o2 sensor just went on me a couple weeks ago, i don't think its related though - probably an old sensor.
  24. hard to tell without seeing it installed, it has the potential to be decent i figure.
