New TRE's maybe? I will be doing my susp. lift soon too, not sure if i should do the tre's as well as the BJ's (Ill do the ball joints for sure).
-
Well, the WD21 has a frame to begin with
-
Neither of my XE`s came with flares. The `92 had power everything and a rear tire carrier, the 95 has power nothing and no options.
-
My cup holder, well I would post pics but I don't think you guys want to see a picture of my crotch. Either that or shove the beverage between the seat and the console... works for me.
-
Well, it would only make sense to replace the studs and remove any broken ones at the same time.
-
Yes that could happen. I'm not worried about mine too much because when I do decide to fix it, I'll likely upgrade headers too.
-
You can keep driving, it won't harm anything (except maybe another stud). I think that's where my ticking is coming from too... I just don't want to spend money on that right now

I have never seen the tach work properly in my 95. I installed a different tach but still haven't wired it I'll get to it.

aux. driving lights installation question
LD50 replied to german996's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I took off the vents/signal lights recessed in the bumper to access the studs on my lights, worked well. -
you can get longer rear shocks to help improve flexability even with stock suspension. Rancho 5116 rears I believe are a nice improvement.
-
I need new shocks soon too, not sure if I'm going to go with Rancho or Pro Comp though. I'm hoping a 4 for 3 deal will come up. This should help for sizing. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9988

How do I know if I need to replace my timing belt?
LD50 replied to BobLoblaw's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Sometimes they put a sticker on the underside of the hood to tell you when it's due. But as Hud said, unless you can prove it`s been done, play it safe and change it. -
It was a song/cd I liked at the time. Actually means: In toxicology the median lethal dose (lethal dose 50%, LD50) is a measure of how much of a substance constitutes a lethal dose in half of test subjects. I should have picked something else

I was actually thinking about that, because these manual mirrors are always moving and they are also kind of ugly.
-
Yeah I was there a while ago and saw them. Might have to go back and see what I can find.
-
Good work, you've got to break her in properly! I've done that a few times... it's always a pain in the @ss when you have to call someone for a tug.
-
Ah, good idea. I'll just wait until I go get my new windshield then. The list is getting longer
-
... The mirror piece that is, or do I need to go to the junkyard for a whole new unit?
-
I guess my alt is fried then. Pesky sand! Oh well, it's not going to stop me

Ok, so I went out for a drive this morning, no issues, ran good. Went out again this afternoon - starts fine. when leaving the post office it struggles to start (first time ever). Hmm, odd. I get home, listen to engine all the way back. Everything sounds normal and it is running great. Turned the engine off on my driveway then tried to start it again - no go, a small "waaa" noise with no clicking. I flipped on my lights and fog lights and they are operating normally, my light reminder dings. Checked battery quick, connections are tight and good. Went wheeling on Saturday in some sandy muck which got all over in the engine bay. I made sure to spray down the alternator last night to get any sand out of it, maybe that's where my problem is? The symptoms don't seem to support that though.

I ripped off the connector and soldered it. I did notice that the wires felt quite brittle. It's odd that the power wire out of the harness is so small and the one coming off the sensor is huge. oh well, fixed now.
-
Fixed, thanks folks. Not sure how it got ripped out, it's pretty protected in there. It was a yellow wire with a black stripe FYI.
-
I'll have to bust out the pressure washer so i can actually see something then, time to look for severed wires! Does anyone have a picture of what it SHOULD look like? Are there connectors or anything?
-
From my understanding (did some searching) the red unit in my picture is the oil pressure sensor. Is the wire coming out of it supposed to be only 1 inch long? seems to me it should connect to something. My light came on yesterday while doing some moderate wheeling, so didn't take a chance and called AMA for a free tow. This morning, I started the pathy and no light, it was blinking yesterday fairly intermittently.
