  1. I think my off roading adventures began as a teen on foot.....running from the cops thouugh the woods and mud.... paranoid from smoking weed, then I realized that it would be better in a 4WD without being paranoid so I stopped smoking weed, now the pathy gives me that high, (almost) honest! -bounce-
  2. Mine doesn'y have one either, or it doesn't work....I have run it below the "E" and it has never come on.
  3. Yeah they do work, there is a wire that comes from the top of the shock, make sure they are plugged in. Also it's only for the front shocks. Take it on a bumpy road and turn on sport....it will get much bumpier. (I got rid of mine and bought rancho due to the price)
  4. Buy a cheap propane torch and heat it up for a minute
  5. Chit I my pathy locks itsself sometimes, so I bought one of those magnetic "Hide-a-key" boxes and hid it on the pathy. Now when she gets mad I laugh at her.
  6. I noticed the B.M. racing S H I T E R too!!!
  7. It's ugly as hell, but I bet it's functional Is it a Promotional truck for the Green Bay Packers????
  8. Or let the hose thaw....mine does that every time it snows....or gets below freezing.....
  9. The land of the freeeeeee...............lol
  10. I have a 1000 watt amp, just make sure that you install an in-line fuse between the battery and amp. When mine is cranked up high, the headlights flicker to the beat a little, thats all. You caould get a bigger amp and install a capacitor.
  11. Same here, in-channel , auto zone. They work great when it's raining and the windows fog up. you just crack all of the windows to let in fresh air, and stay dry.
  12. Okay, after 2 weeks of...... f-ing with NAPA they finally got me the right part, it is actually called a TENSION ROD in the parts manual @ Nissan. The rod cast $40 then I bought the bushings for 14.....at least it wasn't $100 like I was quoted. It sure was a PITA to install, had to use my grinder to cut the old bolts off and then i couldn't get the holes on the lca to line up for the install but after a few hours shes road and mud worthy again! :cool2:
  13. Its not hard, Just a couple of bolts, I think I had to remove my skid plate and get it from the bottom....when I put the new 1 on i used a small bar to pry the alternator until the belt got tight then tightened the bolts.
  14. It's for the whole rod, the bushing were 15 for 2.
  15. Yeah, i will let you know if it was the right part or not when it gets here Tuesday.... The guy @ the store said it could be called a strut mount rod, compression rod, tension rod and another name....he was clueless, but I just pointed at the picture, once again, in tha parts manual and told him to order it.
  16. I like it! I guess I'll have to "aquire" a can from work.....
  17. Call a local machine shop if you cant find the bolt, they can make you one.
  18. oh, well now the part is being ordered....100 bucks, but @ least I found 1.
  19. I knew it was too good to be true.... the dummy @ NAPA gave me the wrong price, he only gave me the price for the bushings and sleeves....I went to pick the part up and he hands me this little box with bushings in it....when I asked where the rest was he said "rest of what?" ....idiot. Anyhow, he's contacting Nissan to see if he can get me 1 because it doesn't have a part # in the manual, the only # was what he ordered.....bushing kit. We will see. And from a glance, the old bushings were definately shot, but wont get 2 the up close details as far as the condition of the hole until the weekend, but I have a 4 day weekend so this break was good timing.
  20. Not my SE lol, think it was the buyer's option. Prob LE standard. Just buy one of those back massage things that plug into the cig lighter....they come heated.
  21. Well, the jy's are completely out of pathys :sniff: but I went to NAPA and the compression rod was listed as a strut mount rod or something...anyway I found it in the guys parts manual and he got it from the stealership and is giving it 2 me for $14.95 with all hardware included...bolts, and bushings....sounded like a deal 2 me so I'll pick it up in the morning and breathe a sigh of relief. Then I'm going to get the pathy high by taking her to a good car wash, she likes that.
  22. Ok thanks guys, damn that was quick, I just posted....lol...gotta love npora, I'll head to the jy 2morrow. I 4got 2 mention that I had just cranked my tbars a little more and was wondering if that could have helped it break due to more tension...but as long as I can get another, who cares? lol
  23. Nah, my hoses are all fine, just that one... of course someone else may have replaced them. I've only owned it for a year and a half or so.
