I was one of three (so far) that got a link from another forum...Nissanforums.com in this case. But I'm still a FNG, tho Love this site...great info/people/atmosphere/etc. Plus I have no time to go anywhere else

Alright...I think I'll try that method 01PathyLE. BTW...nice avatar!
-
Possibly...though a little too ironic I think. But as I said before, when I go by one of those radar-ed Police Dept. Trailers they ALWAYS read 5 mph off...and there's a lot of them here (I'm next to Virginia Beach)

Warn Premium Hubs cheaper than $125?
navygz19 replied to Sierra Cement's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I think it's about eleventy hundred threevie USD, if my english I mean math serves me correctly. -
A 3.3 has it's limitations w/ "beastliness" when it's comes to an exhaust note It's not afterall a HEMI (dude...is that a HEMEHH?) Mind you, the old 300ZX's w/ the 3.0L sounded meaner than Hell. A couple of high-flow mufflers was all it needed. I'd recommend Magnaflow, only because that's what I used to run on my SE-R and it was a great system.

I like my Baldie Bridestone's, tho. All joking aside, I AM pretty impressed w/ the longevity I got out of them. Then again, I've only had the thing 3 months and the previous owner never wheeled it (I don't think) They're not worth a crap offroad though

I had the feeling it was reading 5 mph too fast (especially when I would run past one of those Police Dept. trailers with the radar gun thingy on it that says "Speed Limit, Your Speed" and I always seemed to slow down too much ) So I paced my wife when she was driving and sure anough... 5 mph. off. Interesting. It's not a big deal, kind of interesting tho. Any other R50's here have a bum speedo? And no, I didn't replace tires...in fact, I still have stockers on the thing.

Holy moly thanks for the replies. Sorry, been gone a while...but I still have the PS's. How'd you find that one out No kiddin, that IS how you get some good looking (pin) stripes No, I thought they grew them to unlock doors when you leave your keys in the car

...and then one of the fan impellors on that thing comes off and get's sucked past the TB/Intake mani. and then BOOM!!!

Well, I suppose the title said it all. I hate the pinstripe on my '02 and want to remove it. I tore a bunch of it off today with just my hand, but I'm sure there's an easier way...any spray or something? Thanks!

Ask and you shall recieve... Sorry, like I said, these are, umm, crummy shots If you look REALLY closely, you can make out the "4x4parts.com" lettering on it. bad photo a little better

Somehow I knew this was coming I'll get out there tomorrow morning and snap a few shots...just got home from work and it's dark now. They WILL be, however, pretty crummy, err, muddy shots as the entire skid is caked on with stinky, sticky salt water marsh-type mud...but i'll still get some

:furious: j/k I too got mine, umm, actually on Friday last week. Glad to have that proffessional relationship over with! And actually, seeing your post today inspired me to finally go out and install kine (by myself, it was a pain because they were so heavy!! I had to use my floor jack for support) which ended up being a good thing because I did a little 4-wheeling, bottomed out bad and got stuck in some nasty muck...by myself. So my new skid has it's first gash in it now. I did, however pop it out w/ my friend 4-lo See? Ooops Ooops again... Ahhh freedom... Not trying to thread jack here...but timing certainly is everything! Oh BTW...I dig the blue!

Hang in there...the Pathys are a way of life. I've only had mine for 3 months (and sold an '02 Sentra for it!!) so I too know the feeling of fuel shock. But it comes with the ride I guess. I paid $2.95 yesterday for regular and spent my first $50.00 filling her. I also had a long talk with the wife about what to do when it spike to over $4.00 a gallon (which I am waiting for) But I still wouldn't get rid of her. I only drive her to work now (9 miles) and of course, camping/4-wheeling in Williamsburg this weekend And EVERYWHERE else we go, we drive the Hyundai (her car) I hate driving the thing...it's tiny (a 2-door Accent) and has NO power (107 BLAZING h.p. at a blood-curdling 6k RPM) but on the Highway DOES reach 34 mpg. So, I say change your lifestyle around keeping your Pathy, not change your car to suit your lifestyle Just my .02.

Niiiiiiice skids You finally got 'em eh? But I AM perplexed as it seems that by saying this you didn't install them yourself?
-
FUELER maybe you should drop one of these and we'll see if you can go 10 days w/o sleeping :X
-
Maybe you've got ridiculously balled tires in the front and brand new AT's in the rear
-
Interesting...good post!
-
Yah...what's going on w/ these?

You DIY right? Was it a PITA to do?

I'd love to upgrade my head unit from the finicky Bose setup I have but I heard it's so much of a hassle w/ the individually amp-ed speakers and what not. It's easier to please my Boss at work than it is my Bose CD Changer...
