  1. LOL! Done it! (my best friend's a Cop) Would you take a tazer shot to the nuts for a good steak dinner? By this I mean GOOD...2'' tenderloin, seared for 30 seconds per side in butter, garlic and a splash of white wine then done up over CHARCOAL (no gas grill) to about 140-150 degrees inside, nice and pink in the middle, served with garlic and chive smashed potatoes, dripping gravy, butter and sugar corn on the cob, fresh italian loaf garlic bread and a pint of your choice? **runs to his wallet to see how (little) cash he has**
  2. X infinity. Worth the wait, though. Some real nice pieces in there. Wonder if any of them need to worry about exhaust manifold bolts or power valve screws LOL it's funny to see my same turn signal switch/wiper switch in a $1 million R390!
  3. You win nothing, seeing as this is a VQ mileage thread and not VG33
  4. Hooray! Today's the 15th! Oh wait...
  5. I would incinerate my neighbors Kia (really, he has one too!) whether there were chicken fingers involved or not! He has one of those old school Sephia's with a rotted out exhaust as well. Would you put on a Brian Boitano figure skating leotard for 5 Dueller Revo's in your choice of size??
  6. About to turn 92K this week on my VQ. I still need to do the power valve screw mod. for safety's sake, and last week I had to get it safety inspected and (would have) failed for lack of a rear section of exhaust that never made it out of a trail with me. Got that taken care of. But it was also discovered that both rear wheel cylinders were leaking and my drivers side front wheel bearing was FUBAR'ed. Front brakes are also about done with. After the exhaust, and the wheel cylinder replacement it passed w/ flying colors. Next step is a front brake overhaul (minus new calipers) Not that this was related to engine or powertrain, but I am fast fast approaching the 100K mark on my Pathy. Still purrs like new.
  7. Nice! I completely forgot about this thread, good to see some locals have revived it We're always planning runs around here...keep your eyes and ears open!
  8. Yep, sure would (didn't you see that mythbusters episode??) Would you remain abstinent for the rest of your life to never pay for a tank of gas again?
  9. Doesn't settling of the springs usually take the better part of a week or so? Even longer? Those new bearings will ease up with time I think. What kind did you get? Did you go for OEM Nissan or the KYB's? I got the KYB's when I did my OME lift (about 4 months ago) and after 2 decent wheeling trips they're creaking horribly. They're crap and should be free!
  10. I wouldn't even think of loosening those nuts. They have a MFG tourque spec. for a reason (can't remember it off the top of my head...should be in FSM or Haynes somewhere) How long have you had the lift on?
  11. That's exactly what I get, sometimes a bit higher when I travel to Connecticut on the highway the entire time. Next time you fill, divide total miles (km's) traveled on that tank by how many gallons (liters) it takes to refill it (read: Trainman )
  12. 95-03? WTF? With that accurate of a description, I can only imagine as to the dependability of those pieces. They're probable re-painted, used Kia Sportage springs or something.
  13. "Leather cleaner" implies you actually have a real "leather" steering wheel, or you're lead to believe.
  14. My steering wheel on my '02 is beginning to do the same thing (though not as bad) where my hand makes contact with it in the same spot. They're pretty shabby it seems, and I've got 90K.
  15. No idea it was a vid. from there...I think unc. was going for "Aussie"?
  16. Hopefully he purchased the extended warranty w/ those tires. What's the reasoning behind it being right hand drive?
  17. Ad me to the list...but promise me you're not going to send me credit card offers when I give you my address!! :tonguefinger:
  18. First off, welcome to NPORA. You should delete this topic from here and re-post the same thing in the 96-04 R50 section of the board...I would venture to say a good 50%+ of us use the OME setup. This is mis-categorized.
  19. Isn't it a little early for this???
  20. Chris I just PM'ed you about the TB removal...nevermind, I forgot your write-up explains it all!!
  21. Meh...sorry, just giving you an honest answer. I'm a fan of black steelies, that's all.
  22. Ummm...another blacked out Q with blingy chrome? Is that the answer you were looking for?
