  1. Sent, kudos to you for putting that up. This would be great if they make one for us, I've been looking for a kit for some time now. Like it was said before, they won't know unless we tell them. M.M.
  2. Sounds like a decent idea. One thing though. Location, location, location. This could really fly if you were to locate it near a major city or in a suburb. A bit further out, and you might not have people will to travel and pay, when thier buddy has a garage they will let them use. Just my $0.02
  3. Jim, would it be easier to install the with the motor pulled? Just curious, looks like mine may need to come out any how, and might do that in the process. Thanks, M.M.
  4. Hey I'm on a college campus, shouldn't be too hard to talk a few of the hotties into a photo op.
  5. Here's the problem I ran into. Check the crank shaft diameter. Make sure it is the same as the one you have. When I did my '91 VG30E, I didn't realize it was a different size till I had everything mounted but the pulleys. Measure yours, and inquire about the size of the one you are lookin at. M.M. Edit: as for the knock sensor, the new motor I put in didn't have the same mounting place as the old one, so I drilled a hole as close to the crankcase in the bell housing (where the tranny connects) as I could, then just bolted it there. It has been workin fine for the last 2 years. (knock on wood)
  6. LOL 88, I love that bumper sticker. Thats great
  7. When you say to bevel the inside edge, what exactly do you mean? Might you have a picture of this you could provide to aide me? Thanks alot, 88, you have been a big help in all my questions. M.M.
  8. Hmmmm 8.99 per? I paid 20 bucks for the set. Did I still get ripped? That really pisses me off if I did. Oh well. Over it.
  9. Your lucky day. I was just at the local pick-n-pull today and found and 89 Pathfinder mostly stripped. The one good thing I pulled off it was the support struts for the rear hatch (not the rear window) for 20 bucks. I'll translate that directly over to you plus shipping if you want, no additional cost. I recently replaced mine, but though an extra set might be a good thing to have. Let me know if you are interested. I am located in the bay area (Vallejo) and they weigh maybe a few pounds. M.M.
  10. Thank you all. I'm goin to have to work on the pics, no digital camera yet. I have a scanner though.
  11. Hello to all, looking for a few tips and pointers on my '91 Pathfinder, and hope to share a few as well. Looking forward to getting to know some of you. Thanks
