  1. Did you check the blinker fluid? I have haerd if that is low it has a tendancy to be a bit rough on the exhaust and muffler bearings. Might wanna check that out.
  2. As far as the engine goes, you can find em all over. They inmport low mile engine from Japan all the time. I got mine for about $750 with 30k on it. You just need to look around and hope you city has a dealer.
  3. There's a post on it in the garage section in the sticky's
  4. ....or just buy a 4" K&N cone and use the gold plate inside your airbox and a piece of fuel hose. I did that and it works great. Mr. Jim has a write up on his site, I'll see if I can dig it up. M.M.
  5. LOL thats wicked. I mean heck, if I'm makin the money it should be mine to spend. Where does she get off telling me what to do with it........
  6. I sent ya mine in a PM. Thanks JJ, appreciate it. M.M.
  7. here's for the manual General topic on 4wd harness connections.
  8. Mitsubishi eh? Thats a bit more promising then. I tried driving a car the other day and I do not like it at all. I prefer to be a bit more upright when sitting, and the ability to see above most everything around me is a comfort I didn't really realize until I hopped into the car. It seemed like by butt was scraping on the ground, and I couldn't see squat around me. I might own a car one day, but not anytime soon.
  9. Auto or manual? I could tell ya the manual, not sure for auto.
  10. Ohhhhh M5 nice. I personally prefer the M3's but those get the job done as well. Good luck.
  11. Do it over a period of a few days, taking a bit ou at a time. Say $20 cahs back when you buy groceries, etc, then stash it till you have enough. Thats the easiest way yo do it.
  12. Cool sounds like fun, we want pics.
  13. Hey, he made "Thriller"
  14. Sorry just thought of that Rob Zombie song.
  15. As some one much wiser than me once told me, "It's all about the breathing and farting of these engines that makes them run to their fullest potential."
  16. LOL, I don't know why, but that strikes me as really funny. No worries though, ejoy the new toy, even if it is a FORD. M.M.
  17. Just curious. Mine's actually Damaged Reality Forums but, I'm famous there, so why not.
  18. Not the end of the world, but you might need an extra set of hands down there to hold the head of a breaker bar in place while you pry your brains out. Just remember: Beat it first, and a bit of heat from a propane torch couldn't hurt, just don't get it oo hot, otherwise, you might change the charicteristics of your oil in there. Then again, you're trying to get that out, aren't you. M.M.
  19. :X cringe Hey bud, no offence, a buddy had a seabring, and I wasn't too impressed with it, but that was a few years back, and hopefuly they have improved. Enjoy, you know where we'll be at.......
  20. The pipe can be found at any local exhaust shop. I think I paid 20 bucks for a 10' length of 2.25". As far as the delta or classic goes, not really sure of the difference. Once again, call a local shop and ask them. They will most likely have the answers you seek. M.M.

    Lift Kits???

So if you combine the two, do you get a 7" lift?!?! I have been pondering this idea as well, and wouldn't mind giving it a try. Plus 7" would be friggin sweet. Add a 3" body and you have yourself a 10" lift. (and I didn't even have to take my shoes off)
  22. It really depends. How much of the rubicon do you want to do? There are plenty of trails in the park, and all are varying difficulty. I'd suggest looking at maps, they are usualy lined out with difficulty levels. Some parts can be handled easily by mere stock vehicles, even (gag) heeps, and then there are parts that can only be done by rock crawling buggies. A set of 33's would make life easier, but 31's can handle a fair chunk of the place. Mainly, how good are you at driving her? 31's or 33's don't mean squat if you can't figure out approach, how far you can lean her, etc, etc, etc. I'm not trying to scare you off, as it is a fun place from everything I've heard, but as in all wheelin trips, the difference between a good one and a horrible experience depends on your preperation. M.M.
  23. Trying to heh, I might have to have them pick one up for me and send it my way.
  24. Rubicon = Rock sliders. Period
