Dont sweat it denis I do need all the info I can get before I make the decision. I while back I got underneath the truck and tried to pinpoint where the rattle was but to no evail and now the problem has become worse. I understand you had extreme circumstancses in your fire under the carpet which is why I would definetely check for any holes before doing this.

I read it all for nothing also.

My heat shields on my muffler are rattling quite often now, before it was only at a certain rpm but now it has become much more frequent and it is bugging me. I performed a search and could not come up with definite answers to my questions. So what are the "cons" to removing them? Is there much more noticable heat transfered into the truck? Are they difficult to remove? IF somebody who has removed theirs would chime it I would appreciate the info. :bow:

That would "almost" take the fun out of wheelin. I say that lightly because I am sure I could find alot of things to crawl over/through with that rig.

Very cool mod Q. I went the cheap way and bought some Xenon bulbs from EBAy for like 18$ for a pair. They work good but your setup sounds even better.

Quick question: Can the VSS sensor be removed and cleaned like the MAF sensor? Or is it just toast?

Good thread here people. I too have a problem with my VSS. Occasionally my speedometer will not register until I hit a bump then it will jump up and catch up to speed. Then like once a week or once a month my OD light will flash like 15 times. I have heard the VSS is expensive so I can not do anything about it right now.

I think like Quismo said you experienced the binding. I would say go find some dirt-gravel and engage 4wd and test things out but dont fully lock the steering. If in fact you are still noticing "grinding" then maybe your cv's are done. If you do not notice any more problems then have a little fun.

I like the third brake light idea myself...drift I know you know somebody.

Personally, I think you could find a better deal if you shopped around. Just my .02

Matt, I installed a K&N cone filter on my 97 XE and did not do anything with the vacum lines. I meant to but seriously forgot and keep forgettin to do anything about it. I have not noticed anything bad with letting them be open. I will plug them up maybe today and let you know if anything changes, I do know it runs great as is.

Cool, well I have not had a chance to go to your site but will momentarily. And yeah I am willing ot put a sticker on to advertise as long as it is not "too" big. I am willing to put one on the back window or on the top of the front windshield. I think what you have done to help us R-50 owners out is reallly cool. So whatever I can do to help...I'm there. Let me know if and when and what size the sticker will be

Tyler I noticed max is using your bus. name as his sig. Is that because he is trying out the lift or something? Just curious. Just a thought: are you going to make any vinyl stickers of your sig pradolift? If so I am willing to advertise for ya and stick one on my R-50...figure it might help get the word out for ya.

AWWWHH CRAP! I put AC delco platinums in my ride when I changed my t-belt like 3000 miles ago. The store I was at did not have NGK irridiums in stock. Should I be worried and go ahead and change them??

Well there are no fog lights on my bit&^. Wish there were. So I guess my rig is the bare minimum pathy . And I will check again on the sticker when I test the diff trainman.
