  1. id love to have a 4 cly path. just cause there rare. better yet, a factory deisel hb. there are a few deisels running around up here, but everybody that owns one knows there @!*% and wants a mint for them.
  2. that sneaky lil bastard! had no clue HE was the one that bought it.
  3. Want to sell it? ive looked hi and low for a 4cly path. only found one and the yard wont sell it. Hello and welcome. Have fun with her and treat her good. VERY good. shes defenantly a rare breed.
  4. your truck will sound like ass if you strait pipe it. mine did atleast. and I hope you dont go on any trails with the boys. within the first 5 min they will HATE you! and you will more then likely hate it too. I got annoyed with my flow 40 let alone strait pipe. just my opinion
  5. Look for "trailboss" pathfinders. ive only seen 2, my 89 included. my 89 had both LSD's(altho there was no visable sticker) and the other, also an 89, had the sticker. I dont know if its a canada only trim or what. my pathfinder had decals on the lower doors that said trailboss right infront of the rear tire. other path was the same way. both burgandy int/ext. mine had A/C, the other did not. at either rate, the LSD was no comparision to a lincoln locker lol
  6. depending on how deep they are, you can try a heat gun. it will make light scratches and stress marks dissapear.
  7. wasnt going to post this up till I was much closer to being finished. or atleast till it resemabled a truck but I ran into some unexpected things latley so this projects off for a month or so. So I figured I will post up what I have started. couple months back I sold my 89 pathfinder. I loved that truck but it was rotting way to fast. plus after only 8 months, my trans was about to kick the bucket(weird cause my other trans only lasted me 8 months till the input shaft snaped). anyways, heres the plan; my new truck is pretty much going to be a truggy. the front half of the frame is from an 89 pathfinder. the rear half has been tubed(still two more main trubes to be added). going on the frame is the cab from my 87 king cab HB. full EXO. allpro style bed. Drive train is going to start off as a VG30i rebuilt top end. P&P heads and intake manifold with an M90 sitting ontop. behind that is a 5 speed with TX10 then a 720 case. Axles are out of a 73 3/4 ton J series. Rear is a FF D60. 5.38's, welded, Disk brake swap. Front is a HD D44, 5.38's ARB or OX , superior shafts, Warn hubs, Hydro asst. rear is going to be a double triagulated 4 link with 18" Fox air shocks. front is going to be a 3link with 16" coilovers(more then likely FOA's). Going to be running 39.5x13.5 Iroks on 16" rims. nuff blah blah blah. heres a coulple quick pics: Frame, ~31" under the frame rails. rear links. 2x.250" DOM. 49" long, eye to eye. D60 trussed with 1.6x.125 DOM. 3/8" plate ontop rear link mounts. 1/4" driveshaft to mount 720 case behind TX10 720 case behind TX10. Long and ugly but should work great. with a 112" wheelbase my rear driveshaft is still ~30" long. plus cause the outputs are below the inputs on the 720 case, it should help with my drive shaft angles.

  9. I have many of the same questions too. I think your best bet is going to be asking on a different forum. N4W would probly be best. or AC if your not a hater. not many ppl here are really into "bigger" mods then simple bolt ons. Actually, Ill copy/paste this on AC and see what happens
  10. 2 and 4 doors are identical underneith.
  11. get some 31x10.5R15 BFG A/T's.
  12. bach(black92se) did disk swap and keeped the drum MC. I belive he later switch to the disk MC and noticed no difference.

    Efan Mod

I used the maxima fans too. mine were dual fans but the shroud was plastic. you have to cut hte bottom abit without a BL to clear the steering box. with a BL it fits fine.
  14. best way I have found is some wire. I used the cruse control wire off my pathfinder. 2 ppl and make sure the wire is as parrallel with the glass as possable. its pretty damn easy realy. worse part is getting the wire threw to start.
  15. 87's are three speeds. 88+ are all 4 speeds and vitually identical.
  16. I had/have one on my 89 pathfinder. In all honesty I built it cause it looks cool. I did however save my ass a few months back when I fell in a big ass hole. the original purpose of a stinger was that in case of a roll over, the engine bay will have some protection. One thing tho, Ive been pulled over 7 times in the past 8 or so months that I have had it. cops dont like it AT ALL! one even made me go threw a safty inspection. after the first ticket I looked into it more and found a book about modified vehical safty inspections and found that as long as there is nothing more then 3" higher then the bottom of you front windsheild it is considered safe. so on went a 3" BL and I fought the first ticket. got off it and then ever other cop that has pulled me over I simply should them the modified vehical book and they left me alone. :unno:
  17. Was that actually a problem with the kit? I was under the impression that it was a hardware that broke. bolt snappend/nut came loose? could be wrong as that was a while ago. just curious.
  18. your looking at the ECU lights. one red blink and 4 green blinks would mean code 14. 3 red and 1 green would mean code 31 and so on.
  19. I personaly think it would be stupid NOT to sell it. 6g's? for that you could have a SAS'd path. I would have sold it on the spot.
  20. oh ya, when you say that the truck is in "park" or "N". its just the gauge cluster that thinks this. the ECM knows that its not(because the inhibitor swith isnt connected because the sans auto trans).
  21. you wont need that switch. all you have to do is touch the two wires for the inbibitor relay to gether and it will start. thats IT! theres also reverse lights but to get the thing to run all you have to do is touch the two wires together and it will start. get a manual, find out what color the two wires going to the inhibitor switch are. find them. cut them. the touch them together. go inside and start truck like normal.
  22. yup, ereaser disk are CRAZY!!!! they work sooooooo good. its like haveing a googone that is 25x the power and wont leave a scratch on your paint. get one and you will be amazed.
  23. well, unless you relocate you lower balljoint you wont fit any decent sized Ujoint in there.
  24. I was trying to thinking of making some CV's with Ujoints at the wheel end but htere isnt enought room.
