  1. I'm not too worried about it going bad. I'm going to make this my winter only truck to sort of a daily driver, and I figured while I was going through it I'd change it as well. No need though if they hardly go bad.
  2. Thanks for the responses. I'll leave the pump be then. I haven't checked but is there an access hole in the trunk to the pump?
  3. Hey all, I'm getting ready for winter and was gonna do some work to the Pathy. The truck has some mileage on it and I would like to not get stuck with it . I was thinking about changing the fuel pump and filter. Just wondering if any one has had a pump crap out on them. Come to think of it I've yet to see any nissan fuel pump go bad. Just wondering if I should even bother. Thanks guys.
  4. Ah, then I just have rear LSD. Thanks. I also have the OEM Nissan Roof Light covers which I'm told don't exist anymore. I bought the truck from my boss, who has owned it since 1993.
  5. Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it does have an LSD in the rear and front too I believe. Now for the VSS, how much do those go for? And I figured it was the alternator that was bad, the A/T light threw me off on that one. I hope to be posting some before pics of the rig soon, then start patching her up. Thanks
  6. Hey everyone, last winter I picked up an 88 pathfinder for about $500. Not a bad deal, considering it has 210k miles, and starts up every time. I'm told its a rare model, since it has 4 wheel disc brakes, factory roof lights, brush guard and running boards and roof rack (Though the running boards and roof rack are gone). Anyways, I love the truck, and over the summer I'm gonna fix it up. Now to the reason for my post. The speedo and odometer crapped out on me. I'm guessing its the actual cable, but I haven't had time to actually pull it all apart to find out. Anyone else encounter this problem? Also, my alternator light and A/T temp light stay on, and they get brighter at idle, and dim under acceleration. Like I said, I havent had time to get into it yet, just wondering if anyone else has seen this before. Thanks everyone!
