  1. its offical! 97 Nissan pathfinder SE. 5 speed. D60's front and rear. 5.89's double triagalated 4 link with 18" air shocks out back 3 link with 16" air shocks up front. rolling on 39's! I still have to get some rod ends and airshocks for the front, and order my tires. cutting wont begin for another 2 months just so I can get it in and out of the garage as fast as possable. want to have most of the parts ready to go before I cut. there will be a ton of 1/8" steel plating the unibody along with an equal amount of tubbing. should be a fun project, trying to keep it on the "down low". so lets try and keep it to NPORA for as long as possable. tell me what you think!
  2. same here. snow wheeling. broke two front axle shafts, broke rear yoke, twisted rear Dshaft, poped a front ujoint and blew a water pump. it was a good day! get a winch!
  3. my sirus holds over an hour of songs. there is always somthing that I like on during that hour+ of recorded music.
  4. I have sirus and love it. best upgrade I have done to any of my vehicals. no more CD's everywhere. dont have to consantly be burning CD's. and there are always new songs on.
  5. I ran 33x12.5R15 Pro Comp Xterrians on 15x8's with 4"BS with JUST a 3" body lift. no fender flares, no mud flaps, and NO fender trimming. I never rubbed. nissan has atleast 3 different fender designs. theres some with maybe 1.5" of sheet metal from the front door to the fender opening, and others like the 2wds have that have close to 4". on my 2wd hb, I could not fit 33's in the wheel openings. when I put pathfinder fenders on, they fit.
  6. oh ya, thats for north american nissans. in other countrys you can get a carbed z24 in both HB's and WD21's as well as diesels. but seeing how your looking for VG info I left most of the other stuff out.
  7. Pathfinder: 87-89 VG30i 2 door only very rare, but some did have a Z24i. 90-92 VG30E 4 and 2 doors(altho 2 doors are rare) 93-95 VG30E all 4 doors. updated bumpers and in 94 they got a new dash. 96-2000 VG33E 4 doors unibody Hardbody: 86.5-89 VG30I and Z24i 90-95 VG30E and KA24E 96-97 KA24E Xterra: 2000-04 VG33E and VG33ER Frontier: 98-04 VG33E,VG33ER, KA24E this is all from memory so dont quote me, but it should be pretty accurate. hope that helps *EDIT* I thought I put it down, but I must have missed it, 2 door VG30E paths are from 90-92, not just 90.
  8. I guess my name should be on that list too now...
  9. trucks yes. pathys yes altho very rare and possably only in canada.
  10. ive never had a problem with a fuel filter in a gasser. but its not going to hurt anything replacing your filter.
  11. I made some spacers. 3.5". sold them to someone on this site. I liked my stock spring/coil spacer better then anyother setup(ford springs and JGC springs). I would never drop a coil even with 12" shocks.
  12. I had the rear end clunk in my most recent 94. it was the rear passanger sway bar link. joint was worn out so much that I could pull the link away from the sway bar. removal of the sway bar fixed that issue.
  13. $50 bucks is expensive? I would be laughing if I could fill my tank for 50 bucks. it cost me more like 70 and will only last 5 days going to and from work. but what ever. another day another dollar.
  14. No. Would you trade your rotten frame for a unibody design?
  15. my first path was an 89. it was a "trailboss" edition. thus, 89_trailboss. like many others, not creative nor impressive. lol.
  16. Hey guys, I need some hubs for my 94 pathfinder. where have you guys been picking up your warn hubs at? \ Pezzy/simion, where did you guys pick your hubs up? how much was shipping to canada? thanks.
  17. ya ya, its old and been reposted bout a hundred times. but Ive been without my own 4x4 for the last 6 months and there some of the last pics I have on the old pathfinder.
  18. if I was to start all over, I would get a 3" BL, 33" tires, and longer shocks for the rear. weld the rear diff and you would be laughing. that would make an increadably capable truck for under 1000 easy. save wear and tear on your front end.
  19. get under the truck and grab all the heat sheilds. you will find one that is loose. cut it off and be done with it.
  20. if you can hook to both of those rear points, its OK. but not a good Idea. I used to use them, any sideload and they bent flat up. rear axle is good. but its a PITA. also watch for brakelines. if you rip the rear bumper off, you can rap a strape around the rear most crossmember. in a pinch I had to use my hilift on the front of my path. at that time I had a stock bumper and put the hilift under the bumper, right where the bumper braket is. the bottom of th bumper bend a bit, but I did lift the front end off the ground(one side at a time).
  21. with the round dash(which was in 94) also came electo speedo...
  22. Partsource will beable to get you the gasket. then just use some copper RTV.
  23. yup, a leak before the O2 sensor wouldnt cause poor milage and ****** power... :tonguefinger:
