no since it was replaced the actual clutch only has 30000 kms.... and yes, check the lines for leaks, although that should be easily identifiable by the dealership, so i think they would have checked the lines.... otherwise, maybe it wasnt bled right? i know on my WD there is a bleeder valve up on the firewall, and down on the slave...check to make sure both are tight...and now allowing air in the system....

yea ill have to agree, after working on Max's for a little while, i do like um, especially with the Prado lift :) it looked amazingly huge......

no, leather is not a must. i believe there was an option from nissan to not have leather but have heated.....i think, dont hold me to that...

from all my experiences its a rare option, even more so to find some that work.....

yes that is what i was askin :) i got it done, rented a pilot bushing puller for 30 bucks....and it came right out....

yes auto to manual.... it suprisingly not that hard....i havent run into that terribly much....its just taking me so long because i am working outside (on the driveway) and working on top of that.... but i believe once i have this done, i should be able to do it again, easily also, if anyone wants a perfectly good auto tranny......PM me -sam

yea dash is done....put both pedals in...struggled with that for a while...finally got both the brake and clutch pedals in....wasnt too terribly bad.... now im just wondering.....went to put the pressure plate on the flywheel, tried to put the pilot bushing in, and it wont fit....ill have to snap a pic of what im talking about, is there some type of (pilot bushing type deal) on the crank for the torque converter??? cuz it looks like there is something there....dont know exactly what to call it, but i guess im asking what all did you have to remove from the crank to do your swap???? thanks

yea got um out.....had to pull what looked like a gussent/stiffner(SP?) which gave me more clearance....thanks!

How in the WORLD did you get to the bolts holding the torque converter to the flex plate??? please some helpful hints or maybe im missing something obvious, but i cant get in straight to get them with a socket, and they are to close to the lip of the flex plate to get them with a wrench, so im going out to pick up some swivel headed wrenches, and some offset wrenches..... HINTS PLEASE!! -sam

dont worry its extremely easy....(welding that is) but i think it would be a good idea to get some lessons or teach yourself how to weld with a normal welder (be it arc, mig tig, whatever) and then purchase your OBW

hah, u said it was a PITA...and i didnt think so, so thats why i replied the way i replied... but the motor is right there...basically pull it out....its easy

its not hard to get the door off at all.... unscrew the armrest, slide it out pop off plastic surround from around the (inside) door handle) then start poping the plastic taps that surround the door and then pull up and out....(and if you have power windows and locks, pop the panel off (that has all the buttons) and disconnect)
