  1. im in ellensburg kinda close and im right near naches and manastash
  2. nope wont warp cause of the heat. that exactly what i did with my bushing, took a propane torch to em and an old screwdriver; which somehow found its way back to craftsman for a replacement, lol. can be done in about a day as long as you dont run into any big snags.
  3. lol yea this forum has defiantly helped my learning curve. and i spent 3 years gatehring the parts to my SAS and i would say its no where close to done its just beggining, and will keep going
  4. yea just now 21. ive been on this forum since i was 16 and first got my truck. crazy huh
  5. thanks it was great for the parts i remember it was great finally 21. yes
  6. Very nice and very detailed work. I bet it took you quite a bit of blood sweat and tears. Very nice. you should throw up some pics of it with the lights on
  7. in my opnion 110v units i wouldnt trust the penetration on them on 1/4 inch material. If you do get a 110v make sure its a gas unit because youll have much better welds then that of one without. i have a 220v stick welder and love it have had no problems with any penetration or anything. i would stray away from the 110v units especially if your gonna be doing heavy material and expect it to hold well

  10. you could use a stock one just include an inline oiler and a filter on the way out
  11. you could build an onboard air system really easy if you have a a/c compressor already on there
  12. Think of stuff that makes you reliable upon yourself so you dont need to rely on other people. examples on board air winch spare parts tools full size spare lights on a side not u might consider an oil relocation kit tauras fan upgrade HO alternator ive done my SAS and now im focusing on beign able to rely on myself and make it worthy. ive talked to my friends out here who all have trailered decked out yotas and heeps, they all say if they could do it again they'd make somethign less crazzy and more mild but do stuff that makes it reliable, so lockers would be another good option. just my opnion
  13. well good to know im not the only one. kinda. minew does the same thing when the car is off. but as soon as it turns on and i move a little it gets really spongy. Any one else having this problem or what they did to fix it
  14. whats that do and is that different then regular bleeding
  15. Alright so i have my 1994 SAS se pathy. And im having some brake issues. no matter how many times i bleed the thing the brake pedal is still spongy till about the last couple inches. I just replace the master cylinder and that didnt help either. im kinda at a loss as far as what to do. anyone got some ideas
  16. LEaving the first layer of the winch on is where it will put you in the "pulling zone" each layer wrapped on after that decreases the pulling power of the winch.
  17. lol you'll be fine for sure... i think youll have fun on the rocks doing some crawlin. ill send you a pm sometiem today after i get done studying for tmy test
  18. beavis im outta issaquah as well let me know if you need some help or something or wanna meet up. kinda hard to miss mine solid axled and big an d red
  19. Theres some of my sasd pathy its a 94. your free to use them all you want
  20. ive got some somewhere from solidworks that i drew up for a project. i can give you. i dont have the mounts on there because those were fabbed as i went but my bumper is super simple, has a winch mount and looks clean and provides great tire clearence. and if the welding is good enough you could turn it into a air tank for some on board air
  21. the tops triangulated but what about the bottom. for a triangulated 4 link dont you need the lower links triangulated as well. with the upper links typically going \ / and the lower links going / \.
  22. Alrighty since we havent had a run in while im gonna throw up an idea. During march either the 20,21,22 or the 27,28,29. we do a run. I would love to host something and show everyone who can make it Naches/manastash. This place is awesome with trails from mild to wild. Theres rock crawling and bypasses for those not as capable. theres also trails with off camber, so theres something for everyone to play with. WE could camp if its nice enough. if not my condo is 20 mins from the trailhead. this gives us a place to eat, sleep drink, and provide necessary repairs in my garage if necesssay. This is were many of my pictures come from and is an amazing places with awesome scenery great views and awesome at the heart of washington. Im in ellensburg which is about a 1.45 or 2 hour drive from seattle. Many havce called this place the moab of washington and is amazing. lol hopefully now that ive done a sales job on it i will entice you all to come here. lol
