nope replaced it, tried 3 different ones, so i think its in the wiring or the cluster somewhere

could be the whole instrument gauge, many people have had to replace there instrument gauge. ill tell you right now that both my speedometer and odometere are not working. and for some reason its not high on my priority list to fix.

if im going to pay money for new headers (i already have pacesetters) i wanna do it right. i would wanna do the ceramic coated throleys.

i got a set of pacesetters right now and the black has come off and they are doing the rusting stuff. Dont know about chrome and how well that works, Also from reviews of people here they say the thorleys give a much better increase in power over all rpms were the pacesetters dont kick in till 3k+. would it possible to see if they would ceramic coat them, casue ive found that high temp paint never works, and then if anyone knows how chrome holds up agaisnt drastic heat changes and would provide that info would be nice

yep i know who jardine is. i would be intrested depends on when and the final price though. and would it be a seperate price for the ceramic ones and what not

you could shove the VG30e in there no problem, not so sure about the de, would require alot of work. the pathies dont have much engine compartment room. what engine does your 87 currently have. tranny should be a direct bolt up.

this has been gone over a tone. yes they are very simliar but there is no room in the pathys engine bay for the turbos. supercharger would be a better route

i dont think anyone on this board has done a 4.3L swap, better off sticking to the AC boards and asking them

id say a bigger blade would be way harder than the e-fan mod, partly becasue then you have to do all sorts of cutting on the shroud housing or the removal of which will cause loss of airflow

wish i knew mine. speedo/odometer broke so wouldnt be able to tell, but before they broke i was averaging about 18ish

okay im in the process of gathering parts right now and i have been for about a year. i already have an 82 waggy axle drivers drop, front gears, front leaf springs, warn manual hubs, and a buncha other parts. DO NOT GET A VACUM DISCO axle, it can be done but way more converting, not worth it at all. If you plan on doing it right no shortcuts expect to spend over 2 grand easy. If you leave the nissan rear axle expect to pay a ton in gears as only ac offers them. you can get all the mounting hardware from calmini.com but thats gonna be about 500 bucks for it all. rear gears are 500. and your paying 800 for your axle. plus regear for the front and various parts you have to replace your already talking 2 grand in parts before its even on your pathy. i got my axle for 150 off craigslist. im about 1 grand in parts in and i have gotten rear sprigns, rear gears, havent decided how im doing the front driveshaft, need brake lines, and various other things like that. Thats not to mention the cost of tires when your done im either gonna be runnin 35 or 37's. and i have takin my time fiding parts to get the best deals. for example im picked up a set of brand new rancho rs44044 leaf springs (front 4 inch lift for waggy) for 100 bucks plus 20 for shippign off ebay. they are normally 150 a piece. just consider what you want to do with the truck how much time and money you have to put in to it.

my pathy did that when a fuel injector went bad. almost died but would come barely back to life and then back up to normal.

my suggestion to you would be to look around the site see what people have done and what you would like i would alos take alook here aftermarket parts list

my tranny went i had first and second and then it would just slip like hell and not go into third or forth.had like a top speed of 40 mph, great for around town when no one knows the difference.
