  10. i dont think you have to depress the clutch but do it as a "just incase". Good rule about snow - but youd be surprised what the pathy is capable of with good tires and a sensible driver in the snow. no problem with the link
  11. 2hi to 4hi is shift on the fly. 4hi to 4lo i always stop otherwise it makes a grinding noise. As a general rule of thumb, I put the clutch to the floor when doing anything involving the t-case. theres another thread here http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9476 for more info regarding the 4x4 uses. Also as a general rule - if you need to be using 4x4 (on snow or ice) there is no need to travel 50mph.
  12. WHY IS EVERYONE GETTING RID OF THEIR PATHY?!?!?!? thats like the 3rd one this week
  13. heres a pic of the 5000s on mine. fitting was loose to start but only at the bottom... using an air rachet and wrench my buddy and I just kept going and now it fits like a charm
  14. Dude that totally blows about the tranny - If you decided against the motion to put it to rest - I know a very reputable trans shop in madison, NJ. only guy i let work on my truck. Several of my friends from lancaster county, pa have come just to get their clutches done. HEs quite inexpensive and reliable and definately stands by his work. Id hook you up with a trans for free but the one i have laying around is standard trans. Aside from that. check your pm's
  15. theres big headed philips head screws (maybe about 5 or 6 of them on the actual flap. and no u dont need to remove the tire.... i used a small screw driver
