when i was doing my transmission swap i left a ratchet on the crank bolt and started it. it ended up loosening the crank bolt. how do i tighten this back up with out having hte crankshaft move while i torque the bolt? thanks -Alex

well ill tell you one thing. that transmission will be tonz of fun! unless you have a body lift then it makes to too easy.

so i can put ATF in the transfer case? cause i just did a tranny swap and im still using my old tranny. i found a little bit of shavings but not that much. im guessing this was from when i tried to switch gear and it would grind. but i think i got it down now. the t-case worked before i took the trans out so it should still work. so ATF in T-case?

mine has 182 k miles so alright ill just use the one that came with the new one. plus its off a 99 so its newer if that makes any difference

do you go off road at all with your pathy with those wheels? is it better or different? what kind of tires do you have on it? and whats the overall diameter

well the new one has 92000 miles on it. its been sittin out there for a while so it needs a flush anyways. the oil is kinda red. maybe i should just keep my old one sense i know it has good oil in it.

i got a new transmission from the junk yard should i use the one they gave me or reuse my old one. the new one doesnt look bad it has some rust spots from sitting out there for a while. any ideas? thanks

lol well if we get enough of us my friend will make some spacers. so we need some more people

dang alright ill make sure to get a tranny jack if not some kind of jack. i really dont care how it comes out. because i got a brand new one going right in. well sorta brand new.

Hey guys. I have a friend whos a machinist and can make some spacers for us. I told him 1 inch for the front struts. All I need to know is the demensions and how many of you guys want one. thanks -Alex

ahh thank you thank you very much! And ill try that getting the top bolts from the shift hole. those were the ones i was referring to more.

Guys help me please now! how do you get the transmission unbolted from the back of the engine. i cant reach like any of the bolts. has anyone done this before or what? thanks

haha but i love the pathfinder though. my family has had it sense it was brand new. so its like a little brother to me. i wish it worked so i could go off road today its nice and sunny outside. oh well ill be working on the white one today. anyone want to come help?

haha you push it... if you really need to drive it but i guess thats going to be its resting spot for a while until get another tranny. hopefully very soon.
