Grille Guard for my new Pathy
nissandoms47 replied to MattFransonPA's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
lol, i rear ended someone going about 5 mph.. all it did was push the bumper up and back just a tad, and that was because the bumper bracket bolts werent all the way tight. And i have 2 pro comp lights drilled into the bumper, the lens actually made a dent into the guys hood. no guard on the light, just the lens. -

meh, since I couldn't put down a good bead i just put like 9-10 little welds on each side, and one big one on the front and back. I need to practice welding sideways lol. -
I would bet it was your starter.

What do you guys think?? -Alex

How many miles on the engine? Did the tick go up and down with the engine RPM? Personally I think its kinda hard to distinguish where the tick is coming from in an engine bay, especially if things are loud and it can be coming from anywhere back there. lol
-
if its something internal then you're screwed anyways. If anything it could be your starter solenoid getting stuck and hitting the flywheel. that made a LOUD ticking sound. Mine was doing that forever until I got really annoyed and put a small washer on the starter bolts.

all you need to do for wiring is get the ballasts and all wiring from the ballast to the headlight, then do your own wiring from the factory headlight harness to the ballast.

Does this new bumper make my "Butt" look too big?
nissandoms47 replied to RWC5S2's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
looks good to me, just like pezzy's bumper. -
$95? they're 3 months old.

for anyone who cares, ill have a set up for sale in about a month or so. and ill ship where ever.

True, well I don't even mind the stock location, its fine for me and I just a plastic bag over the filer to minimize spills. I usually get away with only a couple of drops.

man that power steering hp line looks scary. as for installing the relo kit onto the r50. i think when you would try to spin it on it would hit the oil pan. simple solution is to remove the oil sending unit i think its called (the thing the oil filter screws onto) then screw on the relo kit and bolt it back up.
-
a Vice mounted to a table and a C clamp with a socket would work too. But I think the PSI gauge on the press when i did mine read like 8000 or something like that. They are stuck in there good.
-
LOL maybe you shouldnt go there then lol. You dont have a 4 Wheel Parts by you?
-
I think its every 15-20k miles. I would do it once a year unless you're in the car every day.
-
all you have to say is i need a shock with eyelets on each side, and is XX" collapsed XX" extended. What I did was go into 4 wheel parts, said i wanted a pro comp es9000 shocks with 16-17" collapsed and 28-29" extended. And they got that correct shock.
-
dont hammer it out, you can possibly bend the mount, just get a press and a big socket 3/4 or 7/8s and pop it out.
-
yep thats how i did mine, i did it right after i put in my new trans and used a different TC. I could tell when the TC fluid was coming out lol.
