  1. LMAO are you serious? Holy Hell! If you find another pathy with those on them that someones trying to dump for like 500 let me know. I'll split the Pathy with you. I take the flares, you have the rest hahaha
  2. If your going to go 3+3 with 33's then you best make sure you pick up an Idler arm Brace and hoohaa centerlink as mentioned and either make or find a Panhard bar dropdown bracket or its going to ride like sh!t. Go offroad without the steering upgrade and you'll be lucky if you don't mess up either your centerlink or idler arm. Also once you go to 33's you'll have a lot less low end power without regearing your axle so as you can see, it starts to snowball. There is no such thing as a cheap 1000 lift in my opinion since as soon as you change one thing, you must change many more to compensate for the first. Good luck and Can't wait to see photo's.
  3. Search is your friend. Theres plenty of ways to cut costs while lifting you Pathfinders suspension using Junk Yard parts, but keep in mind, once you raise the vehicles suspension you must also fix the steering as the factory steering in not up to the challenge of bigger tires and lift. Again. search is your friend. This topic has been covered, and covered and covered again. In the end your probably looking to spend at least 1000 bucks to do everything properly even with Junk yard parts. Don't have the cash? Then I would advise not to even think about starting it yet. This hobby is an expensive one and the snowball effect happens very quickly.
  4. Quite a Few Dead links in the list now. Might be good for someone to update. Speaking of which, This is the snorkel I plan to buy. AirFlow Snorkels
  5. Could always cut some doughnuts out of those Rubber electrical grounding floor mats. a small piece is fairly cheap and they are fairly thick. I used a THICK transport truck mud flap and it worked nicely.
  6. Hey. Read about it here. And Search button is your friend. Ta Da.
  7. Damn it B! Now how the hell am I supposed to make a 3rd Poor Pathfinder purchase with you stinking up all my options! Sadly I know its true.... And your right. I know I've limited all my options with buying a black beauty, but do you have any idea what it costs to get a Professionally done Paint job on one of these beasts? I'm not talking a flat black spray can job either. I've been quated a couple thousand for 2 coats black 3 coats of clear. My thinking was, buy one black with reasonable mileage, Buy a fram rotted Pathy here in Canada with a running engine and Manual Trans for 500 bucks. Buy a centreforce clutch and swap in the Tranny in my Garage and and I'd have a Spare Parts pig and an Engine to build up a VG34 with. Thats my THINKING anyway. I have a nice new double car Garage now that could fit 4 cars in if i don't put any work space in and a HUGE amount of room in the Attic portion to store all sorts of Nissan Parts and keep them out of sight. My only real problem now is TIME.... having this time sucker, (the 14 month old) makes for no time in the Garage at the present. And Im thinking then next 2 years will be the same since another one is arriving in Feb/March. Needless to say. Your completely right on mechanically sound. Alas my search continues for a Flawless Black 1995 Pathfinder with 1 mile on the Engine, running a Manual Trans with a perfectly Rust Free Frame and a Full Leather Interior with some shiny stuff on it that comes with a 5'6" 106lb Blond with D cup size with no STD's that agrees to do whatever I ask with no strings attached and give me her full paycheck so i can buy gifts for my wife so she wont bitch about how much money I want to spend on the "Flawless Black 1995 Pathfinder with 1 mile on the Engine, running a Manual Trans with a Perfectly Rust Free Frame and a Full Leather Interior with some shiny stuff on it" that i JUST purchased. sigh...
  8. Wow..... I actually remember the day I posted that. I've forgotten how much that first truck was a piece of sh!t too. God I miss it.
  9. Christ Im getting FAR from home now.... So uhhhh Does TEXAS use salt on the roads? LMAO Freaking 2319 km's or 22 hours 11 minutes Thank you google. I figure about 6 fillups at around $80.00 in Canadian currency. so about an extra 480 bucks in Fuel Roughly. Price is right, Colors Right, Tint is nice, Damn Autotragic....... Maybe I'll call him tomorrow. Christ I'm getting tired of searching.
  10. I'd definitely go with sliders man. I'd put those on before skid plates. Do a search on sliders in Google. SO MANY different styles out there to copy off of. Tube version, Square Tube, version. Sealed version to Hold Air pressure for filling tires after offroading, ones with flamethrowers and a Machine gun turret..... ok well thats what I'm designing anyway...... :tonguefinger:
  11. I did a search for you on everything Runnerman used to have posted here and all images have been removed. Best I could come up with was a shot of GrimGregs, so here ya go.
  12. Wow... a running engine and a Manual Transmission and I bet you could offer him 300 bucks.
  13. When you crash it and decide to Part it out let me know. I'd like DIBS on whatever I want first. :tonguefinger:
  14. lmao... I'm not really considering it honestly, but it was just nice to look at.
  15. Tempting.... I know I know...... stick to the game plan..... right. hmmmmm
  16. Sweet Find! I could have used this site last year when I made about 30 trips back and forth to NAPA to pick up more shrink tube, then more shrink tube, then more shrink tube. I swear ya never know how much you need until you on your last piece. Thanks for the link. *Bookmarked* *edit* Btw. Have you ever found a table that shows you what gauge wire that should be used for the amount of wattage/current your going to be using/flowing?
  17. hey Rami... been ages. Glad to see you back. I'm sure you could even Find a Wreck of a Pathy with a working Tranny in it out there somewhere for a few bucks.
  18. *Opens Dictionary* Bamfest......... bamfest......... Bam........ Fest........ *closes book* No Clue what the hell your talking about there, but if you want to do some Gnarly Offroading then you've come to the right place. There is an Overwhelming amount of Information on these forums and the very BEST solution I can give you is... "Learn to use the search function as if it were the secret to winning the lottery" Many with r50's will chime in here and there but as I said, your best source is that. Oh and Welcome to the Forums... you should throw a Introduction in the New Members area with some Pictures of your Rig.
  19. Anyone know if New York City, Not New York State uses Salt in the Winter? I'm guessing yes cause I know Buffalo area does but would like to know for sure cause I found this. Vrooooooom If anyone is close to there, let me know.
  20. Thanks Redpath88 Thats funny cause I've seen that one too. I've been religious with Craigslist since I started looking for one. Every night I search like 15 southern states for a 1995 pathy and click on each and every link that pops up. Mind you if I see its not black then I just hit the back button anyway. (which btw I can say WOW is there ever a LOT of red pathys out there for sale.) I've sent so many emails out about that i need to come up with a better system to keep track of the replies. I'm sure I emailed him already, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Sadly, the one I wanted with the 91k 8 hours from here sold like 5 hours after he called me to tell me about it... sigh.. That said... off to search some more.
  21. Digging this up with my researching... Any of you Vets Save his Pics on your hard drive? Like to see em. Post them up if you got em. Bumpers are what I'm searching by the way.
  22. TerranoNZ hahah Thanks. Ya might be a BIT too far I think... But thanks for keeping me in mind hahaha. Nice to meet you as well. Precise. Ya thanks for that one. I was looking at it already too haha Not too shabby to say the least. And Oklahoma isn't all that far. Just got some replies from the guy in WI about his black one with the 91K miles on it. Seems pretty decent too and Im liking the Low Miles. Also found a guy here in Town with a a95 Pathy that the Frame rotted right thru and he's disposing of it for 300 bucks with a Running Engine and Tranny and Clean interior so I may take that off his hands as well. Gut what I want and toss the rest to the wrecker. Engine has 400000 Km's on it but I couldnt help but think, VG34? Hmmmmm I wonder.
  23. Anyone have a Carfax yearly subscription already? save me $40.00 maybe? Says there is 18 records.
