  1. yep.... unless the engine is out, then you can reach in from the back... Personally... Do the swap and if no hole on the 88 block for the Knock, just relocate it some where accessable.... Piece of Cake.... YOU CAN DOOOO ITTTT!!!!!
  2. Knock sensor is mounted under the plenum and intake....
  3. I would be willing to bet there is a hole already there and tapped on your 88 block... If not then you can mount it on the back of the block in a more accessable location.... Someone on here mounted it to their Plenum.... its easy....
  4. Make sure you have a Haynes/Chiltons Manual. Granted they dont cover everything but it way better than doing it blind..... If you have a Auto Trans... You dont have to drop the front axel to get just the engine out... Also leave the Torque Converted attached to the Tranny.... If you get stumped or stuck, ask on here, some of us would even be willing to talk you through.... (Good call on the Knock sensor)
  5. LMAO!!!! I have been known to move the gear selector to Neutral, rock the pathy a bit... But eventually I end up pulling the Starter.... Last time it actually bench tested good... Cleaned all the connections, positive and made sure I had a good ground on the starter... Still starting
  6. B, What you do in your free time is your business... In this case its TMI!!!!
  7. From the guy wearing full leathers racing on a Panda.....
  8. Like 88 said... Pressure wash it... Mud caked on the rims will throw out the balance... Mud on any part of the exhaust system, once dried/cured on can start to STINKY... Try wheeling in a well used pasture... that will get you some funky smells...
  9. Solution... You have one Pathy for Pimpin... And one for Playing in the MUD and stuff.... I do not think that I have ever washed my 91... Ive used a Power washer on the under side but have not used the bucket and sponge/rag....
  10. pull the motors... Strip the 88's top down to the heads(May want to replace the Head gaskets), new Timing belt, H2O pump and T-Stat put the 91 intake up on it and reinstall.... might want to swap fly wheels too.... not positive they are the same.... Add some Thorley's, Oil Filter relo kit and your ready for some fun in the 91.... Milage on the 88? Part it out for $$$ for the Thorley's....
  11. Dont torque on them, you will break the adjusting brackets off of the lens... then it wiggles annoyingly when you drive down the street.....
  12. Twig hell, even the grass is growing at the wrong angle..... he would have been hi-centered on the running boards if that were the true agle of decent.... I saw a commercial with that... Anyone thats not smart enough to go from D to 3rd, 2nd or 1st or Hi to Low to get down a hill should not be driving imo
  13. I just have the 3" SL no body lift atm.... I am also running33x 9.5" wide tires to reduce the rubbing on the inside... They still hit the fenderwells when flexed
