For one short trip I would say that you are ok... You do run the risk of warping the Stock Manifold... With the existing broken stud, it may have already warped.. When I pulled the Passenger side on my 95 it had about 3/4" warpage..... Others may have dofferent opinions but I would say do what you have to to get it to the shop if your not going to do it yourself..... Anytime you run your rig with a problem you always have the potental of making it worse... Throw some Thorleys on it

Most of what you will find is Motors out of 90 to 96 VG30E's out of the Maxima's.... Strip it down to the Heads, then build it back up with your engines Intake system and sensors....

Timing? Timing belt? Read the ECU thing again, it is a little confusing, but once you get it, you will know... 95SE 140k and I get 18 in town and 20-21 at 70mph..... 91XE 224K on the rig, JDM Motor, 33" MT's and it get 18-19....

Clean it up under there... drive it for a day, then re inspect for the leak.... follow the flow of oil from its lowest position to the highest.... thats where it is leaking from... I would also suggest inspecting the oilsending unit (above and behind the Starter)... Auto you can pull the motor without dropping the front Axel, Stick I beleive you have to drop it...

Bleed the whole system imo....

That will fit in your pathy... dont think the "T"urbo will.... Should only have to swap the Oil Pick up and the Pan, Use the ones off the Pathy motor -bounce- Then use the Pathy Intake up.... 4wd Water pump you will have to slip the t-belt back off and on.. or use a 2wd Water Pump (I did on my 91) So other than the obvious Turbo what are the differences.... 3.0 head/block...

Check the Fluid Levels, Check and see whats left of your Pads... You may need to do some Brakes Only time I have ever had my ABS light come on was due to low Fluid and the fact I needed new brakes.... Others will add some more :contract:

IMO... If you can convert a 2wd to a 4wd, you can rebuild an engine... Takes time, patients and $$$$.. Some of the Head work my require a Machine Shop... If you bore it over or even a 3.3 block...

Did you put the 4 bolts in that connect the flywheel to the torque converter???? Hehe, I read it, just double checking...

I dont know if they will give you any grief taking it back across the border???? You will most likely get a Engine from a MAX, I had to swap my flywheel, just do it, trust me... Depending on the Oil Pump Housing, it may or may not have that one little timing cover bolt on the bottom, if it does not, and you use your timing covers, with out the bottom bolt makes a hella noise...... It will mostlikely come with a 2wd H2O Pump...

There is nothing that says you cant open up that top cover and see what she looks like.....

We ended up getting something similar to that.... Gas Tank Radiator repair, resistant to Gas and Anti-Freeze.... Guess it was luck I still have the skid in the garage, so when he comes back Sat or Sunday we can make a bigger patch with it
