  1. I am glad that you're thinking about it the right way now. Sorry to hear about the Pathy though.
  2. Perfect. Good job mate!
  3. Oops.. Sorry I went looking through their bulletin board. Thanks for the link.
  4. Holy crap. That's a lot of money man. $1300 US right? Time to start working on things yourself and save about $800 out of that.
  5. Grrr... AC board is terrible. I will go and look though. Thanks. EDIT: you got a link? looking through that board gave me a headache so I gave up.
  6. Any more specs? That looks to be the most half assed cage i've ever seen tho...
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VBL Peugeot XD3T turbo-diesel: 2498cc diesel engine with 108 hp (79 kW) with a turbocharger, intercooler, and electronic fuel injection was introduced in 1987.
  8. Actually I find that Hummers no longer do it for me ever since I discovered the VBL:
  9. There are some portal axles that are much lighter though. G-Class Mercedes and smaller mogs would have them, here's what one of the guys I know is doing: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=450288 (It pains me to look at that thread cause I was offered one of those mogs for sale for CHEAP but lack of room to keep a glorified farm tractor for extended periods of time prevented me from doing so)
  10. Hummers run portal hubs on independent suspension all round. Solid axles are much cheaper and flex much better than any IFS/IRS setup. Also solid axles are much more dependable due to less moving components. The only thing better than a straight forward solid axle is a portal gear solid axle. You see Hummers aren't really designed for off roading. They're designed to carry troops and gear over rough terrain and ripped apart roads. Just to give you an idea... a Unimog (Portal Solid Axles) would not only crawl over the hole that a Hummer was stuck in, it would crawl over the Hummer itself.
  11. This question comes up once in a while... and seriously there is only one answer. This e-charger will only work as advertised if you invest also in the Tornado Fuel Saver... the Gas Line Ionizer and you dump half a pound of moth balls into your fuel tank. Now here's the secret. You can't get the moth balls in Wal-Mart or whatever. You need to go to those mom and pop furniture shops.... that's where the non FDA approved stuff gets sold.
  12. I have the CRX Si Recaro (stock seats) in my Pathy. Amazing! They hold you very well while wheeling.
  13. I paid $90 for the Nissan O2 sensor from the dealer. I was quoted $30 for install there.
  14. The way they're designed once you snap it in its hard to remove them without damaging them. I guess my truck was worthy of me spending $100 on it to look and feel better.
  15. Most likely it's the rear main seal. Check just how much oil is leaking... If you have to add a bit between regular changes then i'd leave it. Perhaps think of some additives like Lucas Oil or other and check it again. In your place I wouldn't use synthetic at all, use dino. To fix the rear main you have to drop half the suspension, crossmembers and the transmisson. Even then you might be outta luck if the crank is done. It's a common Nissan thing.... Unless it's REALLY bad i would't worry about it.
  16. I got mine at my friendly Nissan dealer. They even stock the part cause they rust out so often. I paid about $60 Canadian per side so it should be MUCH less expensive in Imperialistic American Dollars.
  17. Holy crap... I need a box of industrial strength towels and about 5 minutes to myself.
  18. Check your vac hoses, make sure yer MAF is clean and the grounding is good on the MAF cables (the corroded wire will cause your truck to run like garbage) Maybe cats are clogged. You said that you got full tuneup? So plugs, wires, rotor+cap should be good.. no?
  19. This site is getting goatse'd for sure now.... -bounce- Just kidding about goatese.... I am all about tubgirl these days.
  20. Weld 'er shut. Lincoln Locker all the way!
  21. Dude... you need to ditch the axle and put a a rockwell underneath.. those never leak I was just joking about it with my friend.. his D44 is not under his truck and it's leaking already... Ford POS. Seriously though, first of all that's not a transfer case, but your differential, pumpkin, pig.. etc. And that leak is semi-normal Just next time you change yer diff fluid put some sealant on the threads. Nothing to really loose sleep over.
  22. My friend has that size Trxus MTs on his '05 Fronty (sliders were just primered in this pic) There is next to no rubbing anywhere. Click on thumbnail for HUGE
  23. Seriously tho.... make sure you pick up the tornado fuel saver and gas line ionizer at the same time for best results.
