I don't think they have Xterras in New Zealand. You'd have to check around if any Navaras there came with 4.9s... Honestly don't waste your money on getting different gears unless you go for the t-case gearsets that are available. It's perfectly fine to run the stock diff gears with 33" tires.... spend your money on making the front end more solid to take them without blowing up the centerlink. -
OK so i failed to deliver on the vodka part but I drank scotch all night long and completely satisfied left right and centre two eastern european girls... while screaming "all heil Mother Russia!" which added to the hilarity of the situation because they weren't from Russia at all. I did learn some Swahili tonight tho as they're both PhD students in foreign languages.

I drink vodka for you tonight my e-friend Iron Locust.

Is your steering system stock? If so, your centerlink is probably chewed up to bits.

Meh just get a decent filter next time. Get a Nissan one or shop NAPA or something. When you get a filter relocation kit, get the Ford Motorsport ones from a Ford dealer.
-
Well if it's flooded the simplest way to fix it is to just take out the fuel pump relay, crank it until it catches. Then slap the relay back in.
-
How badly is it banged up? I'd be more worried about damaged oil pickup and low oil pressures.

Will somebody PLEASE think of the children?

He should have at least given a link to nissan4wheelers or something. sly

Impossible. Salesmen usually know how to spell the name of their merchandise.

3/16"s will be easier to work with and more than strong enough.

I believe R50s with the VQ35s had a 110AMP alternator standard.

BEST $43 you'll ever spend!

Yea but wouldn't the current draw of an empty or even slightly down on juice battery be much greater than what a 10AWG cable can handle? Have you ever seen dual battery setups in 3/4 ton trucks? That's like a 1-2AWG wire joining those suckers.
-
I'd run everything from the battery and put like a 20AMP fuse on it at least. If you want to power a fridge there is no way that you can do that from a cigarette lighter. And even from the battery it might be hairy as I bet that the wiring in the plug and rest of harness is not up to task of handling serious amperage. You may want to consult an RV retailer or something before you have a fire on your hands.

Yea I saw that few days ago and it makes no sense to me. The VQ is slightly more complicated but generally considered a fantastic engine. Doesn't it also have a timing chain instead of belt. The only thing going for VG is it's slightly simpler an older construction... that's about it.

Must have a good part time job.

has to do with the size of manhood i recon....

Ughh... try 4x4parts.com. And don't bling it too much man. It's a nice grocery getter. Nothing more and easily less... so don't make it that.

I found this in another forum (SA to be exact)... I'll just copy/paste as nothing really needs to be added: Here's the planned engines: Saaaweeet. Autoweek is claming that Toyota, GM and Nissan already have diesels planned on their own, so that leaves long time heavy duty Cummins user Dodge at the helm according to this article: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...41/TOC01ARCHIVE I do think it's odd that parent company Mercedes already has vast diesel experience. My guess is that they'll use trickle down marketing from the heavy duty series to promote the lighter duty trucks. Power, torque economy, all right there. This is really good news. With a lot of major manufactures dedicating resources to diesel technology, there might actually be a viable diesel market in the US in the next 5 years.

Do they salt the roads in the winter in your area? Because up here in cold, harsh and unforgiving (although beer loving) Canada, any hitch wiring connector left outside rusts to crap in less than two winters. I always recommend hiding the plug inside and then just running it under the hatch when you need it.
