  1. That's awsome Slick! Once I get a few more things done to my Pathy, I'm going to send some pic's into some mags. I wish some of the mag's would do some write ups on Pathy's or build one up themselves for all of us to drool over and see what can really be done with them. I think some of these guys/gals out there that have done some sweet mods and conversions should speak out on behalf of all the Pathy off roaders out there.
  2. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- It's about time for us Pathy owners to get noticed. May 2006 issue has a '93 Pathy in there for Readers' Rides. Not too sure if anyone on here knows the guy, but it's Michael Harris from Mooresville, NC. Pretty much bone stock, but we are still out there. Give it up for Mike! I think there are enough of us out there that we need to start sending pic's in so others know that we can play with the big boyz also!
  3. So 95, Have you ever put headers on any of your Pathy's? If so/not did the studs come out rather easily & would it be wise to get them hot and then cool down and try to loosen them? I know when things heat up, they expand and cool down they contract. I'm hoping to get my headers done this Spring once it warms up. Thanks for the info.
  4. Phil, Let me check a couple things first and then I will let you have first dibs. I'll get back with ya.
  5. :furious: :furious: :furious: -alcohol- Alright everyone! I just bought some used Warn hubs. Good shape, but not fitting onto my axle shafts. I sware I counted for a 27 spline on the shaft and counted the hub and it has 27. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm counting the teeth that each one has and that is what I'm suppose to go by right? There's nothing worse than getting your rig tore down and ready to replace things and nothing fits, so you need to put everything back together again. :furious: If I need to sell them, I would like to get what I have into them, which is about $80.00. That does include the shippinbg I paid, so if you purchase, get me the whole amount and I'll take care of the shipping part of things. I'll take a couple of pic's for ya then post them for ya later today.
  6. I know you aren't wanting to put your tire on top, but here's one for ya...
  7. I still have to laugh! 31's are a basic size for Pathy's! Those poor JEEP owners still need to put on a 2.5"-3" to squeeze 31's on. I just read something about one guy having to put on a 4" lift for 31's and have a little room for play. And JEEP's are suppose to be the king of off roading? You would think that they would have everything planned ahead of things and everyone else would have to dump all the $$$$ into their rigs just for basic stuff. -thnkboutit- Hmmmmmmmm!
  8. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- Yep, 2 whites for me too!
  9. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- THANKS ALL! I'm pumped now! I'm going to order my BL kit and try to get enough guys over to help me during Spring Break...That's if nothing else gets planned by the wife for me. :furious: -alcohol-
  10. Hey MWS, How long of lines did you get for your brake lines?
  11. Thanks Earth & Pickles! That will eliminate one less thing I need to get for the lift completion. How about the radiator drop kits? I've read that if you get longer radiator hoses, you should be fine...Is that true, what did you do? How about brake lines? I would like to get the breaded for the durability sake. Would a auto parts store know what length I would need if I told them what I was doing or would I have to get them special ordered or does AC carry them? Thanks fellas!
  12. Thanks Pickles! Great pic. I'm now debating if I should even go with the 33's. I gues I'll see what happens when time comes near and if money is available.
  13. I hope I'm not considered one of those noobs? Thanks for the info fellas!
  14. I thought he was keeping the truck, but parting out a few things?
  15. A little ways away, but I'm in Des Moines, IA. What kind of mods are you thinking?
  16. :sniff: :sniff: We'll have to keep each other posted on the progress and share tips. My buddy has done exhaust work before and done headers, but not on a Pathy. All I hear is horor stories and I'm getting a little nervous about the whole thing. That's why I'm taking a week off of work and going to do the headers/exhaust, Warn hubs, seal & bearings for the front passengers side, HP chip for more power and then start working on the 350. Would love to get the BL done also, but waiting on a few parts first.
  17. Hey wheel, Did you do your headers yourself? Just curious if they were a pain like everyone says they are? A buddy of mine and I are going to attempt my Pacesetters with dual exhaust this Spring.
  18. Well, I've read and have heard that the shifter might be too short. Most guys have swapped out the Pathy shifter for the HB. The HB is longer since the HB's sit higher than the Pathy's. Pretty easy swap out from what I hear. Easier than extending the Pathy's shifter. I'm really wondering how things are going to be for me once I do the 350 swap.

   -alcohol- -alcohol- Frisco! Sinner's! I think that would be the only place for that thing......well, I suppose Miami and their 80's retro looking city and paint jobs. Speaking of JEEP's, have you seen the Stage 3 from Quadratec? It's looking sweet a$$ for a JEEP. Winner will pick it up @ MOAB. If interested on what it looks like, go to Quadratec.com/stages.
  20. Hey all! I'm getting impatient and want to order my BL and get it installed, but don't have the money for the tires & wheels. Does anyone have any pic's of their Pathy's or anyone elses that has a 3+3 with 31's? I'm thinking it might look too goofey and too much gap between the tires and the wheel wells. If anyone has some pic's or input on this, please post pic's or you can email me personally. Thanks everyone! P.S. Does anyone have a shifter out of a HB for sale? Going to need one for the BL.
  21. Dark Hunter Green. Been thinking about getting a fresh paint job for it. Keeping the Hunter Green in the front and fading it to black towards the back and blacking out all the windows. Mean looking huh?
  22. Yeah, the guy needs to update his info. Just by looking at the truck, he has a lift. Doesn't look like he's done any trimming by the way the flares are sitting. Looks just like my flares, unless he's trimmed like a pro and the flares hide alot.
  23.  It's making me sick just thinking about all the modes that would have to be done. Sucks A$$! I'm getting ready to start working on the small block. With Slicks help with the transfer case, I'll need some driveshaft work done and some gears, but the engine and tranny work is here....Lock right locker will be installed and some gear work obviouslly. But until then, the headers and dual exhaust and chip will be installed. Looking at ordering my 3"BL in about a month or so. Still looking for a HB gear shifter. Should be about it. OH MY GOSH! What am I getting myself into? -alcohol- -alcohol- -alcohol-
  24. Hey Patz.....Would he happen to have pic's of the engine swap? Yeah, I've haerd some others talk about the firewall and distributor. As long as everything else works out and things run good, who cares about a little dentting of the firewall. Hey Slick, My location is east of Omaha, Nebraska. It's Des Moines, Iowa. If you could hunt one down that would be great! I'll keep in toutch with ya :type: and let you know when the money is there. Little tight right now, but working on getting everything I need for this big swap. Would be great to get your email address...Mine, incase it's not in my profile is tuhedz3@netzero.net. Thanks for everyones help! Travis
