I was searching for pathy info, and I just stayed
-
What site offers lock rights for pathy's?
-
I'm already lowering the tire pressure on the tires, about 10 psi, I've dropped it to 8 psi once. What I think happened before, and I didn't even think about the shocks, but I did see my front end dig it's self in. My pro comp shocks were just installed in the back, but not in the front. I just want to show all these jeeps around here that a pathy can kick ass in the sand.
-
Hey what's up everyone. I'm really interested in making my 4wd stronger, so I can conquer those sand dunes. My rig can handle the dunes, but when I get to a place where the sand is too loose, I get stuck I really don't want to force my pathy out of a jam, since I'm afraid of blowing the tranny or screwing something up in the engine. But I was thinking of investing in a locker, but don't know what's out there than can help me out of those jams.

I read about Jim Wolfe, but I'm not too familiar with them. I don't know about sending my ecu though....my pathy won't be drivable for the time being.

Sorry, the link won't take you directly to the product, but here's the info. Venom 400 Performance Control ModulesGet 25 percent more horsepower in just 30 minutes. You don't have to be a master mechanic to get a major horsepower increase from your vehicle. All you need is a half an hour, a set of hand tools, and one of Python's Venom 400 performance control modules. These Venom 400s increase horsepower by 25 percent in the 1,000 to 5,000 rpm range and reduce delay when you mash down your throttle. And because they only kick on during increased engine load, they don't affect fuel economy under normal driving conditions. They'll work with preinstalled performance chips, have an off switch to preserve smog certification when not racing, and require only four electrical connections during installation.

Anyone recommends this: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?...SearchType=Make. I think it'l be cool to get some extra power rom this chip.

All I saw, especially since it's dark out right now and I have a flash light, was a aluminum looking cylinder that attaches to another black tube, it has a clear plastic relay looking box....is this it? I'll open up the dash to check it out though, some pics if they are available will help.

This recently happened last night, I wanted to make a left hand turn and noticed that the arrow to turn was not on, no blinking green light, then once I got to the side of the road, I left the turn signal on and no blinkers on the front or back. I checked the fuses and they are all fine  . Has anyone experienced this before. I know I recently went through some mudholes, but nothing really deep, maybe about 5 inches or so of mud. If anyone has any info that'll be great.

I found one at autozone for around $54.

I'm usually flattered when someone checks out my ride, but this guy thought I wanted to race him or something.
-
Spinners on a pathy?!?! That would be kind of wierd. Ofcourse I wouldn't doubt if anyone did this already.
-
No he was fast and furious!
-
Ugh, blah sick
-
I hope you find your pathy soon, those bastards deserve to get their asses kicked!!!

What I was thinking is mixing regular gas with alcohol. But I'm afraid of screwing up my engine though.
-
Yeah, I know what you mean 88. Dumb kids around here would prefer to inhale that crap too.

Just posting to let everyone know of a little funny incident I had. I was going east on an intersection and another pathy was going south, well I was staring at the pathfinder to see what it has that mine doesn't. I guess the guy who was driving it didn't like me looking at him and thought that I wanted to race him, so he started to rev up his engine and crossed the intersection very fast. I didn't take it hard because I knew that I was just comparing rigs.....I still think mine was better though
-
Has anyone tried to run their rig on alcohol? I was wondering because I see a section in the owners manual regarding gasohol, it talks about wood and methyl alcohol, but there is no sufficient data to ensure all methanol blends are suitable for use on nissan cars. I really want to run my rig on vp racing fuel, but I don't know if this will cause bad side effects on the engine though.

Sorry for the late update, but I finally got to do the ground testing and it came back ok. So I ended up buying the maf sensor. After I installed it, I took the pathy out for a drive and immediately felt the diffrence....it shifted better, and the pathy didn't feel heavy, like it did with the old one!!! :cool2:
-
Wheelman, does yours have a plastic cap inside it, where the tube ends? Mine does, I don't even know if it should go there though. The cap would be closer to the side of the the radiator cap.
-
Hey wheelman, if it's what I think it is, it will be part# 16585 88g10. When I bought my pathy, if ound the tube in the back, never knew what it was for...now I know where it goes. By any chance, does any one know a site where we can search for oem part#'s?
-
No I really don't know 'cause my friend just gave it to me. I need to do a little mod on it so i can intall it perfectly, but if I remember correctly I think it came from a 70 or 80 something ford.
-
Thank's for the advice, I was thinking of going chrome, might as well, I guess, since the skid plate I want is stainless steel.
-
I finally did the ground test and it came back good. I guess I'll just replace the sensor, but I don't want to lay down $169.00 for it at auto zone, anyone know of a parts website where I can find it cheaper?
