  1. Man, that looks nice! looks like it's been well taken care of, good job
  2. I got a really good deal on some 33x12.5x15's the other day so I snagged them. I'm thinking about selling them and trying to find some 10.5's instead. My question to you all that have run 33's is: Is there that big of a difference between 12.5 and 10.5 as far as power and MPG goes? Or is the difference so small that I should just stick with the 12.5's and be done? Any insight is appreciated
  3. thanks B, I got those 33's today so now I am more than ready to beef up the steering. I have been gone for a while so I didn't know if there was something new I haven't seen yet. I will not consider crapmini specifically because of your issue. If someone has a crapmini that they have actually installed and it fit and worked that's another thing, but I wont buy one new.
  4. thanx trog, good to know it looks like hoohaa is still providing CL's.
  5. Alright fella's and fella-girls. I need the cheapest most effective IA brace links. Don't want Calimini-crappy (unless it is used and actually been proven to fit and work). Does Grandpa X make these? Been gone for a bit and I know I used to have the answer to this question so I apologize now for asking. Did I search, well yes, a bit and didn't find what I was looking for. So if somebody doesn't mind posting a link or listing the makers and prices of IA braces that are available nowadays I would appreciate it. I don't need calmini or 4x4 parts info, already know all about those. Thanks in advance, oh yeh, is Hoohaa still doing CL's. and if not what is everyone doing now about the CL?
  6. Can I run 33x12.5x15 on my 3+3 93 path with 3" backspace rims?
  7. yeh I got the "refrigerant plus oil with system safe leak sealer" can that comes with the little gauge hose thing, then I read the owners manual and thought " I need to ask my NPORA peeps about this before I go any farther"
  8. Is it safe to use the wally world interdynamics brand EZ Chill AC recharge can in our pathy's? Mines a 93 so I do have R-134A but I looked in the owners manual and it says "must be charged with R-134a and the lubricant, Nissan A/C System Oil Type R....Use of any other refrigerants or lubricants will cause severe damage " anyone know if it's OK to use this stuff?
  9. the deck plate drain mod has a cover that can be put back in the "hole" to keep water out when offroad or in wet situatiions. I've never seen it done on a pathy, would like to see pics of where this was done on a pathy air box.
  10. I'd be in for the middle plastic cover if my middle plastic pieces hadn't broke into a bunch of worthless pieces when I pulled them off to investigate doing that same thing myself. I think the boot is a good idea, nothing to break apart to replace that.
  11. So I guess I really do have to scape off my www,nissanpathfinders.com sticker this time . All in the name of progress, right?
  12. you all think I could use castrol multi import ATF in my 93 without harm, I've got about 7 quarts in the garage http://www.castrol.c...ntentId=7028224
  13. 4X4PARTS.com has both a 3" body lift and multiple different suspension lift kits available Body Lift: https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-inch-body-lift-p-5496.html
  14. thanks for the clarification B
  15. nevermind my previous post, they would both be the same as far as servicing the bearings go 5523 is correct. To service the bearings the hubs must come off but the bearings are not in the hubs
  16. but not if they're cold.... I couldn't resist
  17. maybe take the fill plug and the drain plug out, get one of those tiny maglites and try to see in there and fish it out with a wire clothes hanger or something
  18. junkyard which part is broken, part of the oil pressure sending unit or part of the wire that runs to it?
  19. I'm with him ^, if it's a bad part they should make it right. Ask for a manager, take them out to the parking lot and show them with your meter that it's not charging correctly.
  20. I seem to remember someone (Simon?) saying the maxima alt wouldn't start charging until you get up to like 2000 rpm, maybe soemone else will chime in here that knows more about this. I do know 19 volts is NOT right, that is not good.
