Anyone done the KS relo on a WD21? I find all kinds of info for the 3.3L but haven't found anything for the 3.0. My pathy is running like crap and the code read 34 - knock sensor.

My path got a 6 month rest in the garage recently, I started it often but didn't drive it. Finally drove her out and she had rough idle in drive (normal idle in park). So I realized the gas was certainly shiite so I syphoned it out and replaced with fresh. Still idled like crap so I put a bottle of Liqui Moly Jectron in the tank thinking the injectors were probably gunked up, ran it a few times around the neighborhood and boom, it ran like it used to, nice and smooth. Ran like that through about a half tank of fresh gas and towards the end of the tank started running like crap. When I push the gas pedal hard it bogs down big time and starts backfiring, I can let off the gas and then reapply and it accelerates normal. I do it again, push the pedal down, it bogs down and barely runs and backfires - let off and reapply the gas pedal and it runs normal. It idles like crap in drive again too, normal in park. Any ideas? I replaced the plugs and fuel filter and that hasn't helped resolve the issue.

Anyone have any experience using interior paint to touch up interior trim pieces? I thought I remembered someone here doing this at some point in time in the past.

I installed the oil pressure sensor just next to where the oil filter is. Is that where the factory sensor is located also?

So today on my way to work my oil light came on, it flashed on and off a couple of times then it came on and stayed on until just before I got to work. I just checked my oil yesterday and it was fine on the dipstick, plus I have an oil pressure gauge I installed years ago that showed my oil pressure was good (makes me wonder if it is actually working correctly). Anyone know what the oil light sensor is actually measuring and where? Any ideas why the oil light is coming on?

Only have my ignition key and FOB on my keyring. Battery is reading 12.2 alone. Hate trying to troubleshoot electrical gremlins. I will start carrying my multimeter in the PF. Kickpanel grounds? Where are they?

On the way home today I had to stop at UPS store. Pull up, turn off engine, hop out, go in, come back out, start back up. When I start back up my radio isn't playing, my AC blower isn't blowing, my cig lighter voltmeter is dead - no display, and windshield wipers won't work. So I turn on my cruise control - green light lights up - cool, turn on rear defrost - dash light lights up - cool, windows roll down (thank God cuz it was hot). So I'm thinking its not my alt going out cause the tale-tale dash lights aren't on so I just sit for a minute to see what happens - nothing. So I decide to get home ASAP so I get back on the road and start driving, 5 minutes later everything comes on and works normal like nothing had ever happened - WTF? So I decide its fairly safe to stop at grocery store on the way home. Stop get out and get back in and same thing, start driving and boom everything starts working again. When everything comes back on my voltmeter reads 13.8 so battery seems good. Make it home and check all my dash fuses and they are all good. So, what else to check? Any other ideas, anyone else experience this? I know the grounds should be checked but I only know where like 2 of them are - any help is much appreciated.

Hey all, I did search and didn't find what I was looking for, although I'm sure it's here somewhere. After 17 years of ownership I finally lost my original locking lug nut key. I forgot and left it on and drove off, now it's who knows where on the side of the street. What are my options? How do I get the locking lugs off? Can I buy another key? Pisses me off I freakin forgot, after 17 dam years of not forgetting

Thanks Red for the link. Anyone know how to determine how many to use? I found one place that said 4 oz per tire for 33X10.5X15, does that sound correct? I'm thinking about getting ceramic beads but haven't heard about the airsoft beads, any advantage to using airsoft?
-
Anyone using them to balance your tires? I'm thinking about trying them out and wondered if anyone here has had any experience with them.

got home today, parked in the garage, went out bring the trash can in from the street and when I turned around - my brake lights were on! WTF?? Thanks to this thread I easily fixed the problem, the rubber pad was lying on the floorboard. I put a small bolt I found through the hole with a nut on the end a now I'm back in business.

Hey all, due to recent snow I used 4WD yesterday. I noticed a knocking sound, it appears around 15 MPH, it knocks faster as the speed increases and goes away around 25 MPH. Any ideas what this could be coming from? Possible CV axle?

Did the high pressure line fail in a way that would cause over-pressurization?
-
Alright, I found that the leak was at the connector which has a copper washer and then the banjo bolt holds it all tight. I thought surely the copper washer wouldn't have failed but I replaced it anyway. That fixed that leak - cool. So I started it up and turned the wheels back and forth and go over to look to make sure everything is nice and non-leaky. WTF! now its leaking from the high pressure hose where it connects to the metal line AND the low pressure hose where it connects to the pump!!! Any ideas on WTF the problem is?
