  1. screwdriver and a wrench, you can do it, its on the passenger side towards the dash under the hood, its a litlle round canister lookin thing with a hose comin out of the top and bottom, undo your battery to lessen the chance of a spark cuz when you pull those hoses off they will leak some gas, as well as the filter; and you dont want any sparks around that
  2. yep, that similar circumstance happened to me, and the $15 dollar fuel filter fixed it, and its easy to replace
  3. if i was going car, it'd be a 96 300z twin turbo, darn those things hold their value
  4. hey patrick, my x gf mom had one and they're nice cars for sure; I just thinhk it would be hard goin from my pathy to a "car" ya know, as far as reliable I bought my 93 with 80k it now has 156+k and other than preventative maintenance and a starter and fuel filter it has been extremely reliable, never let me down, but being slow, you definitely got that right, but Im alright with that. Anyway good luck with your new ride man
  5. sounds like your cv joints
  6. dude that looks nice, so from viewing your site u got about 1.5 inch lift in front and about .75 lift in back? or did I look at that wrong? either way it looks sweet!
  7. when I replaced mine (if I remember correctly (been alot of beers since then -alcohol- )) I didnt have to undo the panhard rod, actually Im pretty sure I didnt have to, and yeh its very simple, u just need a wrench or a ratchet, quick and easy job, if you do the fronts though dont make the mistake I did and assume the shocks come out from the bottom (logically they should go with gravity right? no) u gotta pull em from the top (once u get the bolts off of course ), oh yeh Im speaking from a 93 pathy perspective
  8. yeh 88 is right, mine were that way, i couldnt figure out how the heck to unplug them so I just cut the wire on the shock side of the coupling plug thing and replaced them with gas shocks. Hope that helps and good luck
  9. man 88 that is the shiite! truly sweet :cool2:
  10. go disc, especially easier to replace pads
  11. yo hardware, looks awesome man, where did ya come across those rims?
  12. hey search torsion bar lift on this site, I started it and there is lots of good'info from all these guys, cuz I was like you and didnt really understand the whole thing, good luck
  13. hey killvox, how did ya do it, like what kinda paint, etc, they look great, does the paint flake off or anything?
  14. darn I think your right, killvox, are those legos?
  15. looks good man, I like it; speakin of black legos, has anybody tried to paint their legos black?
  16. Hey MIke, good to have ya, lots of info 'round here
  17. hey gardoni, what was the price for the calmini lift?
  18. what the hell kinda jack was that? never seen it before, btw whats MQ or GQ or whatever the hell ya'll are talkin about
  19. E bay, I saw a glove box on there like 2 days ago, some dude is partin out a pathy on there so u can probably get everything you need
  20. HEY SNIPER, UCA AND JGC BEEN ANSWERED, anyway, what I did was to first see how much front lift you can get before doing anything, and check how close your bumpstops get, if u need more lift in the front you might have to reindex the torsion bars, not aproblem. You GOTTA get 93-97 JGC V8 front springs, anything else is, well I dont know but thats what u HAVE to get for the rear lift u want. Also those grinder things or whatever, I used a Dewalt reciprocating saw, hell u can use a hack saw if u got the time and patience, just something to cut the smaller diameter ring off the top, it doesnt have to be a grinder (I think thats what everyone else said), and the spring compressor things, dont need them either, although it will proabably make it alot easier ( depends on how good your jacks are. Good Luck plus just search this site and youll find how to crank the t bars and how to reindex em if u need to
  21. do a search, I asked all of these questions plus others you'll think of in the futeure, just go to the search button up top, the JGC's on a 4 door with spare tire carrier should get about 3 inches, then u get the front up 3 inches with your torsion bars, hope this helps, I got my jgc's for $40 at a junkyard, thats really all you need (maybe some new UCA's)
  22. maybe it adds extra protection from "rock on the interstate cracked my headlight", I like it, anyway I got the dark forest green color (metallic), and I havent seen another one with that color around here, although, eveybody thinks its black
  23. never done it, but Im with jj, should be pretty straight forward (ratchet and definitely a phillips for the flares); but ouch mines a 93 too and that hurts, I feel for ya, Iwouda been pissed, good luck bro looks like youll propably need a new headlight bracket too, or a hammer and some patience hey and on that side marker (did mine this weekend) theres a retaining screw on the bottom to watch for (took me a while to notice it cuz it wouldn't go on right)
