do a search, I asked all of these questions plus others you'll think of in the futeure, just go to the search button up top, the JGC's on a 4 door with spare tire carrier should get about 3 inches, then u get the front up 3 inches with your torsion bars, hope this helps, I got my jgc's for $40 at a junkyard, thats really all you need (maybe some new UCA's)

headpeace replied to Patrick's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
maybe it adds extra protection from "rock on the interstate cracked my headlight", I like it, anyway I got the dark forest green color (metallic), and I havent seen another one with that color around here, although, eveybody thinks its black -
Hot-To: Replacing Fender/Bumper
headpeace replied to RealDealNamowicz's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
never done it, but Im with jj, should be pretty straight forward (ratchet and definitely a phillips for the flares); but ouch mines a 93 too and that hurts, I feel for ya, Iwouda been pissed, good luck bro looks like youll propably need a new headlight bracket too, or a hammer and some patience hey and on that side marker (did mine this weekend) theres a retaining screw on the bottom to watch for (took me a while to notice it cuz it wouldn't go on right) -
http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4435 youll find the place and part # in this thread
-
the 93 (if not other years) has a switch on the dash E-Auto (Ithink) that switches fronm normal to power mode (change gears at higher RPM) Ialso have the sport/touring switch and I could never tell that it changed anything in either mode
-
hey snake, youll still have to crank your torsion bars the UCA's only adjust for proper ball joint angles and allow u to lift without hitting your bump stop (I only know this because I asked the same question about 2 weeks ago). also from my research here I think those are Automotive Customizer UCA's which are not preferred by most people here, apparently from a money standpoint Superlift UCA's are the way to go, do a search here for superlift UCA's and youll find the part number, hope this helps and good luck

the new one (brand new) is nothing like that, I can swing it with my pinky, but I wouldn't try to find a new one (it was about $550, fortunately insurance paid that), otherwise maybe some of these other guys have some suggestions, but like you (and I) said other than it bein a pain in the arss, its not that big a deal, till next time l8
-
my 93 says sport/touring, but when I replaced my shocks thats what I ended up doin, cut those guys off on the shock end cuz i couldn't for the life of me figure out how the dam things un-latched
-
mine was that way (up till about three months ago when I got a new one cuz someone hit me) , its was the original on a 93 and it took some muscle and foot plantin to get that thing to move either way, but I just chalked it up to being old, It didnt really bother me but I suppose you could try some lubricant (WD 40 or somethin) on those hinges, maybe even a penetrant and some lubricant after
-
yo repack, dont feel bad, it took me a while to figure that out too, jgc = jeep grand cherokee, but u gotta get the front springs from a V-8 thats the key, and Ithink they gotaa be between year model 93 - 97, anyway good luck
-
yo slick, sweet pix man, i enjoyed em, how much lift did u get in the front and did you do new UCA's, also, how are those ball joints doin (if u didnt do new UCA's)
-
yeah, those dont look like the ones I got, maybe you can get a refund since they're new, then again maybe they will work, 88 should be able to give ya some insight, hardware is pretty wise on the subject too
-
I got mine from a junkyard, alreasy puleed, pair for forty (JGC)
-
u sure its the sun roof and not the roof rack, especially if its an aftermarket with no fairing

Change Pathfinder for honda pilot 2003???
headpeace replied to chapter's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
i'd stick with the pathy, especially if u ever intend to go offroad -
if its in your budget, u should be able to fit31's on there, if thats what u want, stock on mine, give ya another inch; just a thought
-
hey fnln, let me know hpw that goes, after reindexing, thats what Im thinkin too and Im curious how that will work, what year are ya drivin?
-
yeh thats true, it allows higher rpms for each gear, if u slam the pedal to the floor while stopped or going rather slow it will automatically go into this mode(like power mode or somethin), you'll see a light flash on to let you know this has happened automatically(cant rememberbut its on the dash, I think its orange or yellow), the button is to allow u to go in this mode maually,
-
hey flnl, let me know if u find any coils, if not I can propably find some JGC here and ship em to yaand save ya some money, I got my pair for $40
