  1. my rear was 33 the front wAS 32, I got the front up to 33 but only had 0.5" at most to the UCA bumpstop, but yeh Iwas originally at 32 on the front so your 0.5 higher than I am, good thing, that means u got less to go, try it without the reindex first, see how much u can get out of crankin the t bar oh yeah, I do have 31's
  2. hey blackpath, if I do reindex, will I get more lift without getting so close to the bumpstop, cuz at 1" I was at most 0.5" from the bump stop, and thats as close as I want to get. also have you seen any premature wear (cv joints, BJ's, tie rod ends)since u lifted to 2"?
  3. if your doin the JGC/torsion bar lift 88 says its not necessary @ damagedreality.com I think under tech link (somethin likethat), otherwise I dont know but some of these other guys will, good luck and send some pix of the finished job -alcohol- -alcohol-
  4. yeh thats stock, I just recently got a new one that works great and its aftermarket, and super easy to program, they also have the orginal remote but its a little more expensive, heres the link www.keylessride.com
  5. and the 1-1.45" later (woulda looked good just leaven it that way, at least it was level with the back, stock)
  6. wow thats huge, let me try to fix that well i tried guys, all i could get was 1" on the front before gettin .5" from the bump stop, that just got me level with the back, I dont mind bein 1" shorter on the front but if I got 2.5-3" on the back then I'll be 2.5-3" shorter in the front and look like a, well I dont know but stupid lookin Im sure (jacked up)(no offense) pssd.gif , quess Ill wait till another day when I can afford some better sh!t, likesome calmini UCA's, new torsion bars, and new ball joints for the new UCA's, etc......, the list goes on I assume, thats not even touchin headers, oh well heres some pix , quess I should takin one more, the b4 from the same distance as the after,
  7. el madmaster, yeh Ive got flares without trimming and have never rubbed, sorry about hte delay in response
  8. measured with the pathy on the ground there is only 1" on the UCA, my concern is if that is supposed to be actually about 3" then if I start crankin the t bar then I'll get only 1 inch and be on the bump stop, does that make since?
  9. any help b4 tomorrow would be greatly appreciated, I need to know waht Im lookin at as far as feasability goes with this
  10. hey I jusdt checked my bumpstops, if I recall correctly there should be about 3" between each bump stop and its respective bumper (for lack of better term), is that right, also is that while jacked up? cuz on the ground I got an inch both ways
  11. Im thinkin I'll do the front (t bars) first just to make sure I can get the lift I want (1.5-2") before doing the JGC's, then tweek from there
  12. thanx harware, I don't normally do rock crawling so thats a plus did u see my other post about the rubber piece, spacer thing?
  13. oh yeah, whats the purpose of the extra rubber piece on the rear springs?
  14. another question for the experts, will aftermarket UCA's correct the angles for the CV as wellas tie rod ends? or just the BJ's?
  15. hey grim, u think 2" would tweek the tie rod ends too much, I just put some new ones in about six months ago and would like them to last a while, I put in some moogs, a friend told me they were the best, preciate the advice
  16. will do precise, and thanks for all the help guys, oh yeah this is propably stupid question but I only cut off just enough to make the JGC a 4" diameter right?
  17. I hear ya hardware, I completely understand
  18. also hardware, if I only intend to go 2" would u personally, if it was your path, be concerned with the bj's, using stock UCA's? Thanx for all the advise man
  19. hey hardware, I appreciate the reply; heres another, if I get the UCA's will I still have to crank the torsion bars, or do the aftermarket UCA's somehow lift the front by themselves? also just out of curiosity, why havent u decided to lift?
  20. Iquess, I would rather mine be out, more cargo room, or sleepin room
  21. Ithink its year model but these other guys propably know better than I
  22. i dont know about tranny other to drive it and check the fluid to see what it looks like, if it looks burned, manifold bolts, I personally wouldnt worry, its propably 99.0% chance they're shot
  23. boots yes, look under the front tires, its the part that goes directly to the center of the rim, there will be a rubber cone shaped thing thats like striated, thats the boot, theres also one, if you follow that rod one the other end where it connects to the drivetrain? anyway there are upper and lower cv boots, check em out
