  1. Well, we are at 7 total now.
  2. Update on my kitties. We lost Graffix and Max in the last month. Both of them were old and suffered kidney failure. On the happy side, we had a litter of 5 kittens appear in our back yard. We took all 5 in and got them fixed, they are about 6 months old now. Names, girls are Smudge, and Camo, bothe named for their colorings. Boys are Bully, Mittens, and Tiger. I think we are keeping all 5 now, originally we were going to try and adopt out 2 of them, but after losing our old guys, we decided to just keep em all. I'll post some pics when I can.
  3. If 4wd, the front diff is not at all strong. I know a guy on his 5th one in his 05.
  4. I didn't have a license, but I spent that summer behind the wheel of a 72 Malibu.
  5. Why are you riding a girls bike? I always wanted a Stump Jumper, never found one afordablely worth buying, then stopped looking.
  6. I thought my entertainment center was giving me the evil eye the other day, hmmmm.
  7. I have an issue, maybe twice a year, if that, where you can't push the button in. My "shift lock" has been broken since I had to have my selector repalced. It ussually will work after a few minutes of fiddling with it, but it is annoying when it does happen.
  8. Nah, nerds are to busy doing math, the term you are looking for is geek. More specifically gamer geek.
  9. I have the same racks, but from Sears. I don't really use mine because they don't travel well, I keep the majority of my mechanic's tools in a bag.
  10. Looks like a scale crawler. You can get micro cameras cheap these days, and 2 way audio is nothing fancy. As for the radio, most modern 2.4 systems can reach 1/4 mile or more (I know mine can). I'd guess there is around $500-$800 in the setup, depending.
  11. If they are trying to sell the Xterra vs the Wrangler, there's your problem! Maybe if they redesigned the X to be more like a Wrangler it would sell better... Dip-sheists!
  12. CASH! Which was spent on new cell phones.
  13. I suggest you just break up now. You said nothing sexual, but at that age that is about the only thing he does really want.
  14. Last time I looked, dealer was the only place to get them.
  15. I started hitting the Nissan related sites in 01 when I got my 93...
  16. Jeeps are to offroading as Civics are to ricer tuners. Just because they are the most common, doesn't mean they are the only game in town.
  17. At least they carried the WD-21 platform well into the 2000s in that country. You could probably make a mint shipping out body/light parts from the latter models.
  18. Can you imagine the redneck engineering that would be going on if there was a revolution here?
  19. Would have been more impressive if it had all been a first run.
  20. Saw one of those in a local J-yard about 5 years ago.

    AC UCAs

Yes and no.... The front suspension only has a range of movement from upper bump stop to lower bump stop, any lift/lowering done to the truck does not change that. So as your front end flexes the angle on the compression rod continually changes all the time. So while sitting still, the angle might be slightly different than before, but it is still well within it's acceptable range of movement. So yes, the angle is different, but no it should not increase the wear on it.
  22. I have the 1.5" AC coils on my 93, with a slight t-bar lift in front, stock UCAs. In the 8 years since I installed the coils and cranked the bars I haven't had any real issues. I changed out my ball joints 2 years ago from wear, but they were the originals (16 years old). The springs initially gave me about 2" lift in the rear, but settled down after about 6 months, and haven't drooped yet.
