  1. Nothing to celebrate if you ask me! If it had been built basically the same for 25 years, then we should have cake and candles. That thing is an abomination!
  2. IIRC the reason the 4cyl didn't change was because they used the R180 diff up front and didn't make any changes to it. The V6 had a change to the 28 spline at the same time they switched to a different diff side mount on the drive axles. I'll have to do some digging to refind my info source, as it was something I came across about 10 years ago.
  3. Looking at the second pic in your first post you got everything. The part in this pic is the bearing retainer ring. When you go to swap the new ones on, remove the outer, pull the snap ring off the stub shaft and pull everything that will slide off freely (if you need a tool to remove it, leave it alone). Remove the part that fits on the stub shaft from the new hubs and slide it on, reinstall the snap ring, then bolt the new outer on and you are set. Edit:Just reread what you got it from, if it was a V6 Hardbody it will fit, if it was a 4cyl they will not.
  4. They can steal mine if they want. I bought a high flow, but didn't put it on because the old one was just fine (thought it was clogging up, but it was the muffler that was clogged).
  5. Why not split the difference and get some 34" Super Swamper LTBs?
  6. Next time you try the setup, unhook the battery overnight. Without it hooked up the ECU should rest to default which runs it through a learning cycle. It does sound more like a sensor issue though.
  7. Your's probably has a plug in the hole like the rest of us with manual controls.
  8. Can't wait to see those trailing arms.
  9. Why not go out and remove the bolt that is in the rear body mount on your truck and see what you have?
  10. I know when I measured for making my own winch bumper it didn't need to stick out that far (as far as it looks like your's does) to fit a 9000lb Warn.
  11. Check around some of the little airports up there and see if they have any old steel tarmac they no longer need.
  12. I have driving lights (55w) on my brushguard, and offroad lights (120w) on the roof. The roof ones are mountd off my basket. I didn't notice any substantial drop in mpg after mounting them.
  13. In best Peggy voice, Means good for the ladies!
  14. I know how it works, same as an old Jeep soft top. The piping (bead) is easy to find, I just can't find the channel.
  15. Where did the guy get the channel for your top? I've been looking for some for mt 88 chop top plan, and can't find anything.
  16. Actually the 88/89 SEs did have the dual fuel guages.
  17. No LEs or OD in 87s. 3spd tranny like B said.
  18. Same here, but I also saw one on a Frontier detonate while the wheel was hanging (getting all the power free spinning), and it had stock downtravel. I can only imagine how much sooner it would have let go if it was hanging another inch lower and binding the CV that much more.
  19. If anyone does know, I'd be in for 2 myself!
  20. Just for your bifocals:
  21. It looks like a RHD carrier, the tire is shifted more to the right.
  22. If you space the UCA up, there is more down travel before it hits the bump stop. As mas mentioned, it might give you a tad more travel, but the angles it puts the CV in makes it unhappy.
  23. Yeah, they spent 5 minutes on it the morning after and nothing else. Guess not enough people died for them to give a crap. Remember Haiti?
