  1. I second the coil as the first check. How old is your fuel filter?
  2. I'm sure there are many people who have never even heard of an 8 track tape deck. Hell, they were phased out when I was a kid.
  3. Actually a lot of the old "Ram Air" setups had the hood scoop open toward the windsheild for just the effect your Dad was talking about.
  4. Huh? It's a quote from Heavy Metal. Cool about the Gasaraki, I hadn't resorted to an internet search yet, was still trying to find it locally. What started me on anime was Star Blazers and Speed Racer, back before I had even started going to school (circa 78). Then Robotech when it first aired. Then drifted away from it and got back into it when I started college and bought Akira. I had heard about it's adaptation from a comic book back before I had drifted and decided to see how it turned out.
  5. You don't need to remove both rears, just the side you need to replace. My driver's rear is snapped on my 88, stealer wanted $75 for a new cable...I went and bought some cable at the hardware store and some crimp on ends to replace mine.
  6. "I know how to drive when I'm stoned" Yeah, G4 always has different animes on, watched part of Last Exile on there. One thing I'm pissed about, I started buying a series called Gasuraki, now I can't find it anywhere and only have 2 of the series. It's pretty good from what I have seen, just wish I could find the rest of it.
  7. Roll with it.... I know HM isn't Japanese Animation, but an as close as the Americans have got I have all the Ghost stuff on DVD, the best parts of the series aren't on the Adult Swim (the intermition animations). Another good series is Hellsing.
  8. Heavy Metal is awesome, but the sequel was even better (Heavy Metal 2000 I think) BS, the original HM was much better than the second. Another good anime is Ghost in the Shell
  9. Anyone worried about locking a wheel on the carrier just invest in a cheap Bicycle cable lock and loop it through the wheel and the tube of the carrier.
  10. Hey, that POS rollbar actually worked
  11. I didn't notice any more than before the lift on my 93.
  12. For under th rear seat I would remove any and all signs of rust. Then if it's a large hole cover it with steel either rivited, screwed on with sheet metal screws or best option welded. If they are smaller holes just use some fiberglass to repair it. I wouldn't bother with a silicone sealer, I would use something more like a roof sealer on the underside at the edges if anything.
  13. I cut out all of the rusty bits of floor that were around the edges of the hole (it goes from the door all the way to the center hump). Next I'm using some Naval Jelly to kill any rust I can't cut out. Then welding in some 1/8" steel, I'm using the 1/8" because half of the body mount is exposed from the rust, so my hope it the extra thickness will help reinforce the body mount. I'm going to Herculine the interior, so I'm not going for anything pretty, just functional and strong.

    Alright!

I paid less and got more a year ago with my HP Media Center M380n.
  15. My 88 has the open floor look also. Just started fixing it this past week.
  16. I agree on the CV binding being the cause. Mine will lurck like it's getting stuck then slipping when cranked in 4wd.
  17. That's the actual cold air intake part I think, either that or another worthless resonator I can't remember exactly.
  18. One new vehicle that looked promissing was the Cross Lander, but I don't think it will ever make it to the car lot. I already bought a second Pathfinder since I liked my first one so much, I guess I would go with yet another Pathfinder in the future, but 95 and older only ever. 96-04 are unibody POS, and the 05 Pathys are IFS IRS and have way too much crap inside and out that I don't want.
  19. How about missing half of your floor boards and cargo area due to rust? My 88 had some suprises under it's carpet
  20. The spray on liners aren't as durable as Herculiner or Durabak roll/brush on liners.
  21. Depending on how sloppy the mud was, you might have got some muck inside the drums
  22. Got mine for $25 at the local yard, they were just laying under the Jeep since someone took the axel off of it for me already
  23. Canada isn't too far from Cleveland, about 2 1/2 hours from Windsor, and about 4-5 hrs from Niagra.
  24. Another "cheap" alternative is cork, you can buy it 1/8" thick in a roll, just cut it to size and spray adhesive it in place.
