  1. Why not? They can be a pain the first time out, but after that it's pretty simple. The best bet for pulling the wires would be to discconnect everythng in the door and pull it all out of the door since you don't want to cut them. If it were me I would buy a multipin connector and splice it in so you have 1 quick disconnection at the door .
  2. Like you said, the track heights are different, the seat its self has an offset for the tracks. Best bet is to search the junk yards for some replacements if they are too bad, or hunt down some new covers.
  3. There are 2 brackets not in a truck without the tire carrier that are located above and below the tail light for receiving the hinge base bolts.
  4. Another solution to the "poping" or creeks it makes is to put a piece of garden hose over the loop where it runs through the crossmember. The hose stops them from rubbing and being noisey.
  5. I guess the seller realized
  6. What ever makes you happy. I never have liked Xs and the new one is just as bad
  7. http://groups.msn.com/nissan4x4/_whatsnew.msnw Does that help?
  8. Look at this pic (it's large so I'll just give the link) My Webpage The depresion is right where I described, there is a black plug at the bottom of it. That pic is my 88 that has the external carrier, my 93 also had it, with the internal carrier(removed now).
  9. Hey 4Hummer, I found your site on a google search when I was contemplating chopping my truck and getting ideas. Nice of you to stop in and check us out here :cool2:
  10. I'm in the MSN chat most nights at some point between 9pm and 2am
  11. Sad to say my worst stuck was in a parking lot in the winter. I was playing around and attacked a plowed pile and got high centered on packed snow(ice). I spent 15min wiggling back and forth about a foot and a half till I finally worked myself off the side of the bank. Have yet to be stuck to the point I couldn't unstick without help (knock on wood ).
  12. It's there, should be right beside the jack and the tire hump.
  13. Just go to the Nissan 4x4 chat on MSN
  14. The only hardware for it was a nut and bolt. You use the stock nut through the top into the bottom of the body, then the new bolt through the bottom and the saftey hoop. The reason I left mine in is it helps support the center of the body where the front seats are mounted.
  15. Never seen one of the 96+ Pathys in a yard here yet. I figured they are so new they go to professional dismantelers for parts resale, rather than sit in a yard waiting for someone to strip it.
  16. My wife e-mailed that to me last week. I hate thumpy sh!t, but that's funny I don't care who you are!
  17. BTW Slick, if you pull the carpet up in the cargo area (drivers side) and pull the piece of foam out of the floor, there's a little dished in area for the spare to sit in (on models that had it inside).
  18. Looks like the drop bracket for the saftey hoop around the driveshaft.
  19. This weekend I got 20mpg in my 88 on the highway (10mpg on the trail )
  20. No trouble in 3 states so far And it was covered in mud on my way home :cool2:
  21. Yeah,yeah, I had fun though
  22. He was at Coal Creek, I got him a bottle for his B-day!
  23. Hey, that might work for the pair of 5mm I have sticking out of the grill
  24. Well, the local PoPo hasn't said anything about mine yet, we'll see what KY&TN cops think this weekend
  25. You can always make one of the licence plate holders to attach on the fairleed if you cover the plate with the winch.
