  1. Just to follow up. The rubber boot on the inside of the brake master cylinder reservoir cap was folded over funny and was pushing on the switch in the reservoir. I set the boot straight and it's been fine

  2. You checked the fuses in both the interior and under hood boxes, including the fusible links, and all were good? You did check the fuses in the IPDM unit as well? For that you have to unclip the IPDM from it's box and pull it out to access the fuses and relays. How did you test the relays? Nissan had a recall on the relay that powered the ECM in the Titans. When it failed it would not turn on the ECM and so there was no communication with it. It is a small black relay mounted on the IPDM. When cranking the engine, does the security light turn on? If so, that indicates the security system triggered and will not allow the engine to start. 5 attempts to start without a correctly coded key locks it and it requires a trip to a dealer or a locksmith with Nissan consult to unlock it. From what has been described in the original post, I am going to suspect the fusible link unit on the positive battery terminal. I have replaced a few that cracked where it has the 90° bend causing a loss of connection on some circuits. An easy test is to jumper between the terminal and the link after the bend. Sometimes the crack is hard to see. Or you can use a test light or volt meter to see if you have battery power at each wire that is plugged into the fusible link unit.

  4. Went up to our property for a day and in between working on the house tinkered with the car for a couple of hours. Removed all of the 'old man' add-ons Also threw my 31s on, but they are coming back off until I sort out a lift. Also found the culprit for my overheating issue Threw in a new water pump and radiator at the same time, went for a run, cool as a cucumber! That's it for now! Pete
