hello from WA

Hi everybody;

Thought I would say hello, introduce myself, etc. My username comes from where I live, and one of my hobbies- fly fishing/ fishing in mountain lakes.

I live in WA state, and own a '95 w/ 92,000 miles as of a couple weeks ago, I got it because I spend a lot of time outdoors, driving in the snow, on forest roads, and other remote areas.

So far, I have replaced the front brake pads (did that myself), and had a shop adjust the torsion bars upward a bit and then perform a front alignment.

Look forward to learning more about my truck; see you all on the forum.

Welcome to the boards

Where abouts in WA (Spokane, formerly from the Bellevue area)? Bought my 88 just for accessing the N.Fork of the Stilly.

FlyFishing for Stealhead Rocks -bounce- Being in Spokane now means 150 mile one way trip to Ringold on the Columbia or the Grande Rhonde....

Set of Thorleys in the parts for sale...

Nice another Washingtonian! From Tacoma/Lakewood but in Spokane right now! I LOVE fly fishing as well but I do most of mine in Montana/Wyoming mostly targeting rainbows, cutts, and browns. But ihere in Spokane I flyfish for bass.

What part of WA are you from? Do you happen to be on washingtonflyfishing.com?

Welcome to the board!

WAVEY Thanks for the welcome everyone; much appreciated. Nice to see the PNW so well represented!

Mostly I fly fish for trout; although am pretty sure I see another fly rod - an 8 wt. Steelhead/ Salmon rod - in the not to distant future for going after "the fish of 1,000 casts" with the fly too.

Mmmmmmm.... steelhead. *runs to the freezer to pull some our for dinner tomorrow night*

*Beats Mr.P over the Head with the frozen SteelHead :P

Totally unfair that you live on that side of the state and can go on any given day for SteelHead... for me to go its an expidition.

Psst, what part of WA???

Sorry 'bout that guys!! I live between Seattle and Everett right by the Edmonds ferry exit off I-5.

I read Washington Flyfishing.com but haven't posted there yet. They have a lot of good info there.

Was just out on the Skykomish on Saturday, what a beautiful day to be outdoors! After I resigned myself to not catching any fish, I played around with my 4WD a bit on a couple forest roads; I had never put it in 4L, etc. :cool2:
